Haha no I'm very happy with my mileage. I bought it 7 months ago with 97k. So I don't drive it much because of a work truck I have but the last thousand miles jumped fast.

Installed custom(ish) rear sway bar end links per the write up on here and Toyota 120...went fairly smooth and I am pleased with the end result. Now it's time to start upgrading from my DS spacer lift. Have a great Memorial Day weekend!

Installed my URD O2 simulator. Pissed me off because it didn't clear the code. I think it's probably because I need to remove the spark plug defouler, I'll put it on the rack at work on Monday.

Got bored again, decided to go to the auto parts store and get some ATF FLUID. Had done a power steering fluid change on the last oil change. The resivor was showing fluid was dark again. So did the drain, and pulled the filler area and did a internal clean and was it coated with a black film. Clean now, and flush through the system with new fluid and topped it off. Looks pretty again with red color on the resivor. Good for another
1000 miles as the barber tells me.

Yep, kinda doing the same tonite, taking the kids and my partner out to the 24 hr driving range. See how many we can leave on the golf course for the morning tee timers, they hate it when we do that.

LTDSC- I actually waxed and buffed her out Thursday, bummer I still have these battle scratches running down her, nice and shinny.

Changed the oil, air filter, and spark plugs. Did the transmission fluid a couple days ago, the diffs and transfer case looked good, so I'm down to (I think) the power steering fluid and coolant to deal with before I call it all caught up with maintenance.

Have to give credit to Toyota's engineers, too -the V6 is a pretty friendly engine to work on, I was pleasantly surprised.

Isn't new ATF awesome? Mine got worse because I swapped a 120k mile 2008 trans into my truck with 55k on it. I have lots of sludge in it, so I'll have to flush at some point.

I have a lot of maintenance to do on my poor truck. It's been neglected and abused too long. I shoulda bought a trail rig

A good Jeep Cherokee (XJ) can be had for $1,000-3,000 and are generally reliable and great off roaders that can be fixed with a hammer. Plus theyre so cheap that if it wears out you can just buy a new one and throw all your mods onto it and keep rolling cheaper than it would cost to fix your 4Runner!

I paid $2,500 for mine with all the good stuff already on it like a limited slip, upgraded axles, lift kit, cb radio; pretty much off road ready AND I can DD it if I need too.

Method Standards 17x8.5 with 0 offset. I sit where the stocks sat with spacers.

replaced my HIDs because apparently my 4runner HATES them. Blown out 4 ballasts. Im done trying to figure it out. I have relays on both fogs and headlights and dont use auto feature. Tired of blowing money.
