What did you do with your 4runner today?

Installed a new fuse/relay box under the hood. Wanted somewhere water proof and near the battery to install aftermarket fuse panels & relays so they didn't clutter up the engine bay.

The bolts are rusted on. I'm gonna give it another go tomorrow on some lifts so I can really get under there

The wife and I finally hit some trails today.... what a great day to get out. Sunny and in the 70's. Usually there are Jeeps out there rock crawling... no luck spectating others tearing it up!

Cleared my headlights, didnt put that meguairs headlight protectant on, since that kinda dull my lights, but used that bluemagic protectant, then took it for a night drive, realize that my retrofit is pretty bright on the freeway, lighted up all 4 lanes plus shoulders and overpowered everyone elses cars.

moar pics! I wanna see how it looks because I might do this to mine, getting tired of looking at all my scratches + faded paint on the flares.

Here are a couple of completed side shots. I actually painted these because of scratches too. out of the 155k miles on it, about 80k were put on it on gravel roads and beaten paths throughout Montana and Utah.

Went to get a magnaflow muffler with a turn down tip installed.

wheres the tip at? emmanuel do great work, he did my exhaust on both 4runners i had. i scared him one time when i remote started the truck on the lift after he finished, he thought it was ghost. flowmaster super 44 did sound better than the cherrybomb vortex on the 4.0.

I replaced my passenger side rear axle oil seal today at the base auto hobby shop. Took me about 4 hours but I saved $300 compared to what the local repair shop wanted to charge me to do it!
All in all I'd say that was worth taking the day off.

Replaced the Wal-Mart 500 CCA battery with Sears Platinum Marine 1100 CCA battery

Are those some type of fuse box behind the battery? Interested to reduce the clutter under my hood.

tried to find a squeak in my suspension, im guessing its the LR UCA bushings. I gotta go get some lube and see if i can fix this. Also finally trimmed my rear caps on my methods, now they're all even.

Dayum, them rims and ride looks sweet.
Mine used to look good, now really looks ruff after running with them gen3's last weekend adding to all that carnage we did.

Edit: I thought those tire where going to be to soft after receiving them for off roading, NOT. No chunking at all even breaking loose with traction.

Added $300 per year to my insurance for the next 6 years because I bumped that CRV at ~1mph a few months ago.

Are those some type of fuse box behind the battery? Interested to reduce the clutter under my hood.

On top of the factory fuse box, I mounted a power distribution box (engine side) then next to it I mounted a accessory fuse box that takes power from the power distribution box.
Currently I only have the ARB compressor wired to the accessory fuse box but any lighting or ect will be taking power from this box.

When I add my stereo amp it will take power from the distribution box. Same with a winch if I decide to add one.

Both boxes are fused appropriately.

I left enough power cable to the distribution box so I could remove the factory fuse box cover in case I need to get in to it.

It's paint this time. I did it once before with plasti dip but it didn't hold up to off roading.
