Yeah, I have more welding to do. I didn't have time, so I took it home and painted it. I need to add shackle mounts and cut a winch fairlead hole. Then I'll grind the welds all pretty-like.

Not gonna add hoops at this point. I kinda like the flat top look!

Replaced my exhaust from just behind the cat all the way out back. I can't believe Toyota's prices for the components. I wasn't going to drop $500+ for the muffler and tailpipe pieces, so I bought the Walker brand replacements. Obviously not as nice as OEM, but both pipes, two gaskets, and some new bolts and hardware was about $200. Install was free in the driveway. Angle grinder made short work of the old stuff (which was in great shape except for the crappy weld that broke just aft of the muffler -- very little rust or corrosion).

Took advantage of an online Advance Auto coupon and saved $50 on the muffler.

The Walker products don't have nice mandrel bends like the OEM pipes, but I took it out for a long test drive afterwards and notice absolutely no difference in performance from the Toyota parts. I wasn't expecting any difference in performance, but I did assume there to be slightly more back pressure from the non-mandrel bends.

redid my retrofit, lowered the clear lens to bottom right, jb stick and jb weld the passenger side since i havent done it. jb weld drys alot faster when its in my oven at 170 for 15 mins. heres how it looks like on my driver side since its been done long ago. internal shot to give u guys ideas on retrofit.

driver side parking brake seized while I was replacing rotors, rotors were stuck on and some retaining pins were mangled pretty bad, so the runner is now out of commission until at least monday. hwell:uke:ray::moping::sad:
Leads me to believe that the previous owner had a habit of riding around with the parking brake on. -_-

Friday I ordered a pair of EBC rotors and Green stuff 7000 pads for the front.
Today I got an alignment (Firestone lifetime) bought some red caliper paint, wired up the CB. The antenna mount will be done next week so I can mount and tune the antenna next Saturday after I install the new rotors and pads, just after I paint the calipers red.

The Sport brakes are much better than the brakes on the Limited so I am excited to see how it will be with the EBC rotors and pads.
