just got back from a tint place, and tinted the front windows 20%, seem like it'll match pretty well...

few grille updates from here -

1) changed the R's on the badge. NEW (left) V old (RIGHT) thought they were a little block ish (have since been painted)

2) Primer

3) figured out how to attach the badges, basiclaly bedded some machine screws in JB weld on the back of the emblems. THe screws are flat heads and rest on the little plastic beams on the emblem. I thought it was a cool idea.

4) and for a laugh, here's my APT where I have to spray paint. Note the box in the corner, the fan by the window and the angry girlfriend off in the bedroom :lmao:

One question though , how do I determine which spring goes on the drivers side , I figure there's a difference somehow. :thanks::thanks:

any tint is illegal, well 70% is considered legal but not worth it. Basically anything on the front three will get you a ticket eventually.

haha, i have been analyzed on swing speed/arch and whatnot. I just recently had it done and bought new clubs based off those numbers. Was the first hitting with them.

Installed my new coilovers Friday

Now I get to lower them down a bit in the middle of the heat wave since I got 4" out of them and my driveline angles are all wonky

I went up 4" from worn-out stock suspension when I put in my Toytec Ultimate. The consensus seemed to agree that even though Toytec says max 3", I probably lost 1" due to old, worn-down springs. So I've left it alone. Only issue over past couple months is slightly leaky CV inner boots. But I'm about to marine-clamp band them soon.

The rear is the same for both sides.

I took that into consideration when dropping them. My nose was sitting a little higher than the rear and I'm not into the whole prerunner look, so I dropped it a little.

I called the dealer and they wanted $60 bucks for a rear wiper arm.

So, I got on Amazon and ordered one for $30 delivered.

It arrived yesterday and looks identical to the Toyota arm, except it's .25" longer. No big deal.

I used a Dremel tool to trim down the tabs that make contact with the base of the arm...that way the spring can pull more tension and wipe more of the glass surface. Only had to trim 1/16" off the tabs.

Now, for the first time, my rear wiper will wipe the entire path of the blade!
