What did you do with your 4runner today?

Was wondering where you did the painting, Zak. The spray paint can looks right at home on the coffee table haha.

Guess I'll piggyback on w/ the Satoshi updates. Got the glassing done on mine. Now I just need to do some fill work and a good amount of sanding. I added a strip of plastic to the flat bottom of the 06 grill to give it a different look. Kind of a grill spoiler, if you will. Also knocked down the ridge lines on the sides and upper portion for a smoother finish.

Still figuring out the badge/logo situation for the opening but leaning towards doing a painted logo right on the mesh so my LED bar will not be obstructed.

Performed open heart surgery on [MENTION=72341]NJshadow93[/MENTION]'s gauges and steering controls over the last few days. Damn I had to get creative with remedies for burnt pads and what not, but I got them all back up and running! Hope Mike approves the work done when he gets em tomorrow

then all of a sudden after finishing a climb I noticed my fuel gauge
said it was empty. then over the next half hour it slowly climbed back to
the half tank position.. its fine now, but has anyone else had this problem.

said it was empty. then over the next half hour it slowly climbed back to
the half tank position.. its fine now, but has anyone else had this problem.

The gauge is just a reading from a floating bobber in the tank. If you just finished a climb all the fuel most likely went in the opposite direction of the gauge., this low reading. Then the fuel settled down in the baffles and your reading was fine. It's not a problem, just the way it works, you're all good.

Hmm I'm not sure exactly there. I want to say that's happened to me but its been a while and I can't remember exactly how long it took to get a normal reading.

Have to make sure they are horizontally aligned once you JB weld the projector to the housing. For vertical alignment there are bolts in the housing that you tighten/loosen to adjust.

you suppose to mount the projectors nice and flat first, make sure its right where you want to be, that whys they tell you to mark the stock cutoff on the wall and use that as a reference. mark the old cutoff on the wall b4 you disassemble the stock lights, anyway what year is this truck? also depending on the height of the projector on the truck, like lets say you are lifted and the projector sits at 40 inches + at the center of it, u need to be a 3 inches less of that height on the cutoff. im 2.5 inches lower than the height on my truck since im not lifted.

once you got the projector cutoff at the horizontal part done right, you can use the stock adjusted to control vertical up and down, and horizontal left and right. use jb steel stick to mount first to get everything right, then wait half and hour and use jb weld, once you got that, throw it in the oven to make the drying faster, use a warming temp on the oven, something like 180 of less.

Received my new suspension today. Overland Warehouse leftover 2.0 kit. I cannot wait to put this kit on. Any idea if I will need anything else?

Also, can i combine their rear shocks with my stock springs or FJ springs? I was only going to level truck out but this kit came along and I know it has fantastic reviews so i grabbed it up quick. If I can just get away with a level front by adjusting the coilovers and use rear shocks with a shorter than the kit spring, I would be even more excited.

Yeah you can just use your stock or FJ rear springs with the OW rear shocks. While you are at it you may just want to grab some Toytec rear super flex springs and get full use of your lift.

I think the kit he bought came with coils he just doesn't want the full lift.
