What did you do with your 4runner today?

I finally did the FJ swap and daystar 2.5/1.5 spacers!!!!

Hey I forgot to measure before the lift. But here's what I got

Front passenger 39.5
Front driver 39.25
Rear passenger 38.5
Rear driver 38.5

2006 sport edition v6 2wd

2010+ FJ Trail Teams bilstein shocks and springs

Found a 03-05 SE 2wd at panera bread to park beside (perfect timing). The mom didn't mind me taking pictures until her daughter started saying her I like your wheels. I think her daughter didn't see the wedding band on my finger.

Anyways... I'm loving it. I had to drive to Houston, a buddy is an oil field mechanic and was in for 2 weeks and said he could do it no problem. So from Nacogdoches to Houston it's like 140 miles or so and I averaged 22.5 there and back on the gauge. Did the hand numbers and I got 21.12 mpg. Not that bad

That looks great man...although it looks like you may have some bro lean going on (of course you may like that).

BTW, you are extremely high for only having 265/70s. It will settle some but just for reference, I have my coilovers cranked up pretty high (~3.5-4" lift) with 33s and still only measure 39" in the front. Just be glad you have 2wd else your CVs would be screaming at that height. Also, check your UCAs as they're prob extremely close to your coils with very little to no down travel left.

Yea I am hoping it settles .5 - 1 inch... The lean isn't bad I think it's like a quarter or half an inch. Not concerned with that.

And yes they are! I can barely put my finger in between them.

Agreed it looks great! Ours settled too and we only started with 3", but we have lots of weight bringing her down. :D

Yep, considering alot of us have done this job on our own garage floors or driveways with hand tools in 6-8 hours, that is way over priced.

It's not that bad a job if you at all considering doing it your self. Get a few tools and your good to go.

I know it's not that bad of a job but I don't have much space to do it nor am I even remotely mechanically inclined. I called the Toyota dealership as well as another friend I know and am waiting on their prices.
 
I hear ya ! Perhaps try to get them to break down the cost in labor hours, vs wheel alignment so you can get a sense for what they are charging for.
