Threw in a K&N drop in filter today. Butt dyno says it feels a bit more free, no sound change or anything. Hopefully MPG will bump by a few %. Any little thing can help!

Anyone else have experience with these?

got some plastic polish and took a rag to the headlights. after about 15-20 minutes of heavy rubbing they look like this. after a couple weeks they retained their shine but started to yellow back a little. another application should do the trick this time.

You are probably going to need to seal them with either a homemade UV sealant or some store bought headlight sealant. Judging by the fact that they yellowed after the first time you polished them, I'd say the clear coat is all but gone now that you've polished them a second time.

not today, but monday me and my dad bought a used 4.0 engine with only 30K on it to replace mine (blown headgasket, shot rods through oil pan), and told the shop to get started on it. Should have my baby back within 2 weeks. :whoo:

Inspected the damage from Rausch Creek

Lifted up this rock (the one that is in front of the rear tire at this point) and scratched my door. Oh well! Not nearly as bad as [MENTION=65845]absolute yota[/MENTION]'s recent damage...

Yeah I had one for years... Meh. I didn't really notice much of anything from it. I've since replaced it with an aFe dry. They're oil-free. Cleaning and oiling K&N's was always a PITA.

Camping with the family at Frisco Woods campground Frisco NC. Plan on a 4 wheeling in sand trip this saturday and a ride to Ocracoke NC on Sunday. 2 ferry rides for the 4wd. I will plan on posting a few picks of our ride on saturday. OBX baby!!

Yep, if you haven't yet, do the HCF Mod as well, that makes a big difference with the K&N.

I definitely get a bit more MPG, and feel more power, have had it on both my 4Runners

Attacked by the Jeep !

My 12 yr old son started my wifes Jeep without asking but didn't take it out of gear. It took off with him in it across the front yard. Jessica grabbed him out as it rolled by and then was trying to hop in and stop it but she wasn't going to make it before the Jeep went down the stairs so I grabbed her and told her to let it go. It went down 13 steps and the stone wall and into the side of the 4runner. Just missed the van that her father was working under on jack stands. She is at the hospital with a possible foot fracture from getting it caught in the rocks at the top of the hill. The kids are fine, the stupid jeep is fine other than a bent bumper. The 4 runner is all ****ed up.
