just as a precaution, i would consider installing a nylon or rubber waster between the metal surfaces to help keep corrosion to a minimum. nylon would probably be your best bet as it wouldn't compress as must as rubber and you could still snug it up pretty well. just food for thought.

well you see her dad owns a silverado, mom drives a tahoe, she drives a tahoe, uncle drives a silverado, grandpa drives a silverado, grandma drives a cadillac, i could go on and on...last i counted her family currently owns 17 chevrolet or gm vehicles, both sides of the family too. i don't have much of a say in the matter
