Let's hope so. I still have yet to find a job. Though I found a sweet opening for an intelligence analyst position in Camden (live in philly for more years) and I've got my eyes open.
The quad!!! Where I wish I lived freshman year. My dorm was a hell hole called Hill. The room was like 9x9 or something else. When I say room I mean cell that I lived in.

man I hate to say it but I don't think I can get over how horrible the 4th gen is the snow. My second gen does amazing :/ maybe I'll keep it or trade for a third gen.

whats yours like in the snow? i used to think mine was horrendous until i put new tires on, its a totally different vehicle now
Granted I don't have a ton of experience in this area, but I believe a lot of winter/snow performance is due to the tires rather than the 4WD system. I'm pretty confident in the snow, and the worst I see is going over Loveland pass. I have A/S rather than snow tires.

That's just crazy talk ! What tires do you have ? Even when I had the stock Dunlops on it my 4th gen was always a beast in the snow. Do you use the center diff lock at all ? Ill see if I can find it but my son took a video once of my 4runner back when it was completely stock blasting through a snow covered field in 2-1/2 feet of snow without any problem at all. I was pushing snow over the hood. Ive pulled stuck f350s with sanders and plows oout with my little 4runner before.

Today I watched my wife drive away in the 4runner again for the 5th day in a row. Her Jeep is of course broken again and the good old 4runner is of course not broken so Im stuck with the vanilla Tundra again until the Jeep parts come in. On the bright side, is there anything cooler than watching someone else drive your truck and seeing it moving from the outside ? Its funny, when I look at it sitting still im always wanting more from it but on the road it looks like a monster ! I kinda made my day, even thought shes bringing 3 cats and the dog to the vet right now and I would never allow animals in my truck.... I guess its going to need a vacuum job soon.

Hey that's not a 4th gen. lol.
It's not my 4th gen... it was one I've been doing some work on. The tires on it had probably 80% tread but I think they were more like those "touring" all season tires now that I think about it. not AT's.
But still... 2wd was horrible. couldn't go anywhere. Turned on the diff lock and 4wd - got a lot better. Still had crap for traction which was probably the tires. nearly slid into a curb because it wouldn't slide around the turn.
I could go anywhere with my second gen. but it also has good Dunlop AT's (similar to BFG ATs) and no ABS or anything. and it's a manual. and it gets shit mileage.

There was also another lifted 4th gen V8 with 33s that looked pretty sweet. was hoping I'd get to work on that but it wasn't in for work. Just dropping off parts for the other one.

I wonder what mine looks like from the outside pov, I just won't let my husband drive it since he totaled my 99. But I do look at myself in the windows going through a parking lot. Lol
