What did you do with your 4runner today?

I read through a number of pages looking for the answer, to no avail, so I figured I'd just ask... where are you guys getting these cool, factory-looking rocker switches? I'm ready to do the "VSC Off" mod on my 07 Sport, but I would like install a factory switch that reads TRAC Off or VSC Off, etc.

Personally I would not want to use the Dura in the snow/ice. The crosstek is the nice in between with good looks. I have the Terra now and find it quite quiet. The set I had many years ago and they were quiet till the last 5k miles it so of tread life.

Thanks, I was quite happy with the crossteks, I actually wish I would have gotten them swapped from my 03 to my 08 when I did the trade in. I'm not sure if I want to get the crossteks again, but I definitely wasn't sure about the dura in snow/ice so I appreciate the feedback.

She's gonna be sitting in the garage for a week or so but in the mean time I get to drive my husbands 03 V8, already had fun with it this morning!! Kinda wishing mine was a V8 it shifted so smooth :driving:

Well that explains the coolant smell and slight losses in the overflow tank!

Easy job, just had to pull the battery to get the trans line and lower hose off.

Ouch, I just replaced mine a few weeksa ago for the same reason. That spot on the driver's side end tank seems to be a common failure point for these V6 radiators.

My coolant might be low too. My truck struggles to keep engine heat when it's like 25 or below.

Ouch, I just replaced mine a few weeksa ago for the same reason. That spot on the driver's side end tank seems to be a common failure point for these V6 radiators.

Ya, not what I planned for my day off, but atleast it was 34 degrees out, and not 18 and snowing or something.

Good to have it done, woulda sucked springing a big leak while on the road up north for some snowboarding.

Holy sweet Jesus.... I'm at Ira Toyota of Danvers. As it is I'm not thrilled to be here.

I went to the service department to get some new clips for my fenders when I chop them. I say I have an 05 4Runner and I need clips for the front fender flares. "I need your vin to look the parts up" ugh. I get the vin. He enters it and asks "so you need the trim piece?" "No, the clips that hold the front fender flare on" (note I said front specifically) "so are those for the front or the rear?" "....Front..."

So you would think with their HUGE parts inventory, they might have a few laying around in a bucket, right? Nope! I have to wait 15 minutes for some dude to bring them from the body shop. I would be home by now if I went to Woburn Foreign. Again I am reminded of the incompetence of Ira's staff. Last time I do ANYTHING there.

These are the same guys that forgot to replace a bolt when reinstalling my alternator and were shocked that the belt wasn't keeping tension...... Ddddduuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrpppppppp

buddy of mine bought a corolla from Ira in manchester CT, its the same level of incompetence there, he brought it in for an oil change cause they give him 5 free or whatever, and they had it up on the lift with the front wheels off and then they came in the waiting room and asked "so what problem were you having with the steering?" yeah they're great

I paid $20.10 and the total was $20.08 (got $.02 back). I asked for a refund because it's been 15 minutes. He gives me $20 back and says "I don't need the $.02 back".... Do the math, he still owes me $.08. #LOLIraSucks

BOUGHT IT. Now all I need to do is change my username. I had spent months looking for the right 3rd gen, before deciding to just go with a 4th gen. Silver (Titanium Metallic?) 2003 Limited 4WD with 54k miles. That's right, 54k. This is a huge upgrade from my Isuzu Rodeo. btw, that mark above the front fender is a spec of dirt inside my cellphone camera. This vehicle is incredible clean. It has just a few small nicks here and there.

Well, this just happened.....time for a back up light mod

Removed the running boards and SR5 badges. Replaced the SR5 badges with Tacoma Texas Edition ones. Still need to put the one on the tail gate
