Kicked it's tire.. it's acting up and peevin me off because I should be able to fix this damn low voltage evap reading easily. Everything points me to a $300 part and ... unfortunately my thread on it is me talking to myself so far.

i drove it to the post office to wait in line for 25 minutes to mail some rear spacers to [MENTION=55855]zopperman[/MENTION] because he can't handle the ass drag of his 4runner any longer....

Changed my oil today. Most of you probably do it more often, but I'm at the 1 year interval (5730 miles). 5W-30 Mobil 1 for me.
I learned the meaning of functional strength when I had to take the skid plate off to get the oil filter off. I thought once I got my RCI skid I was done with taking it off to change my filter - but alas I had trouble getting any kind of leverage on the filter. I replaced it with a K&N which has a 1" hex on the end - so maybe next year I can use a wrench.
I also installed this magnetic drain plug for S's & G's. The washer that came with it was steel and pretty thick, so I wasn't sure if I should leave it on or replace it with the crush washer - so I used both. I checked it after a 2-mile test drive and no leaking. However, it's unnecessarily large - like 20 or 22mm. Ridiculous. I couldn't get the torque wrench on it - I had to use the crescent and just guess.
Finally I was going to take a hacksaw to the old filter to see how intact it was after 12 months - but I forgot and let's face it - there's football to watch. Plus it was a Fram and I don't even know why it was on there in the first place.

my rear is over an inch higher than the front and I'm happy about it....east coast vs west :cheers:

Nothing too significant but, I just installed some 3k HID Fogs I ordered a week ago.... (I'll try to get a pic in a day or so.. )
