What did you do with your 4runner today?

:doh: forgot about that. i ordered from another vendor.

All in all though, still a ton cheaper than taking it in, they want something like $900 to do one around here. I have an impact wrench and compressor so this shouldn't take more than an hour, two if I take my time. Only thing I need to get is the 36mm socket for my impact wrench.

I want to say it's a 35mm. Took me 45 mins with an impact wrench, the 4 hub bolts you need a crescent wrench to get to and those take a while.
 
So I replaced my cabin filter, didn't even appear that dirty, but I replaced it with one of the fram carbon ones, and it definitely seemed to help with my mold/mildewy smell. It isn't totally gone, but even when I'm not doing the air recirculation, I don't smell it as strong. Weird...

I know it seems like I'm stupid for putting them on there. But I only put the blue lights in there when I'm on private land for the day. I don't drive in public roads with them
 
Ordered some Desert Products uniball UCAs so I'll be selling some light racing UCAs very soon!

And my wheelers super bumps arrived. Hoping for some above freezing weather this weekend so I can install them and the UCAs.

The ball joints are pretty shot after 10k miles. I have new SPC ball joints in hand to go with them. Once I get them pulled I'll PM you and we can work something out if you Def want them. I've just personally lost faith in the Light Racing UCA. I know a lot of folks run with great results. The bushings are great...not a peep from them.

Since I just picked up my new to me cream puff 06 V8 SE from central FL with a whooping 39k on the clock I have only had time today to get the front windows tinted and I de-badged it also.

I'm so happy with this purchase. It was garage kept, every service record is accounted for at Toyota Orlando every 5k.

Up next is a full set of weather tech floor liners, black out the wheels and most likely upgrade the head unit. The JBL is nice but I want nav capable system with Bluetooth.
 
We went looking for land up hill and down dale in San Diego County, got threatened with arrest for trespassing (he was drunk and pissed and his dogs were ugly) and found some peace in this world on far roads overlooking valleys and hills.
 
Went driving on unpaved roads in a nearby state park, then went snow diving to get night time pictures (my friend is a photographer). Almost lit the brakes on fire before I decided it was better to lock the diff than let TC do its job... :zoom:
 
Just got back from the Demello-Offroad shop where I picked up my new bolt on sliders. Just have to get them painted and mounted before our trip to Gold Mountain on Saturday!
The guys at DO are good people. :)
