Moved my mirror on the pivot too. Thanks for the idea.
BTW, I would recommend doing this in the morning if it's going to be 90°+ in the afternoon. It doesn't take much to pull it off the windshield on some cars.

I'm not sure I'm understanding how you guys are moving your rear view mirrors up. I inspected mine and the mirror is stuck to what looks like a black vinyl sticker. There is a strip that goes up to the headboard but I don't see any way it could slide. Are you pulling the mirror off of the window and re-sticking it up higher?

Lift is finally in. Did the drivers side front yesterday and the rear today. Getting the spring compressor from autozone helped a ton. I dont see how people get them in without one. Mt break lines/ABS lines were stretched tight and I still needed about 2 inches more. Also put on the DIY longer endlinks. Pics tomorrow as it gets dark fast here in AZ. I was putting the wheels back by feel. Just need to torque a few things and grease the rear sway bar bushings, get an alignment and Im all done.

careful with the mic there, you may get echos from being in that cubby hole.
you should run that mic over to the center speedo and stick it to the top of that. for best perfomance you should speak into the mic, like you are on american idle singing
back on topic:
started my day by forgetting my fumoto valve at home when i went to go change my oil at my shop.
gets better, finally got to use my mobile 1 i scored from last black friday $20 case. 7 qts of mobile one went in since i changed the filter. bought a cheapo one last time in a pinch. everything went well. filled up the oil, cleaned up, started her up and just about to get off the ramps. I hear this hissing sound, get out and look and see oil pissing everywhere. by the time i get to shut the car off, fresh Mobil1 is on the ground. Stupid cheapo gasket from the cheap filter was stuck on the engine causing the filter not to seat properly.
can it get any worse? yes.
as i start cleaning up, i get the oil dri into a cardboard box. as i take the oil dri out to the dumpster...the box breaks open and i have to clean up another mess. again.
yes it gets better LOL
so i still have to take the new oil filter off to get the old filter's gasket off. well its on tighter than who knows what! finally i get it off, only to have it slip out of my hand and roll into the middle of the NEW RCI skid plate. what ever oil was left in the engine starts coming out, to give me a shower of fresh 5w30 Mobile1 synthetic oil from head to toe!
Synthetic oil is a PITA to clean up and clean off! So i saved a ton on blackfriday but got raped when i went to buy more oil to replace the 5qts that i put on the ground!
I also managed to get my RCI skid plate and a arm skids installed while i was under there. also made some stickers to decorate them up

Got my moms new truck in just in time for mothers day and did some small mods. Its a surprise, I'm picking her up tomorrow hope she likes it.

Could be the Metra kit, I would do the iso mount instead of the cage mount.

I did used that Metra kit before and didn't really like how it set my radio, so I swapped to a american international kit off crutchfiel, hhere's how it looks when I utilize iso bracket mount on the kit.
