Got my suspension sorted out... Went from:

Rake is now perfect for me. It's just over 39 for both front fenders and just over 40 for both rear. WOOT.
Looks good! did you push up the 5100's or get a spacer?

Thanks! I purchased the standard superflex coils and switched out the HDs. Should have gotten them the fist time but there is no one to blame but myself. The front actually came up a little now that the rear is down and front and rear are almost exactly even side to side with the daystar 1.5 on the d/s rear. Seriously happy now.
Just Seafoamed the 2007 in the Lowes parking lot, then did some mosquito abatement in the surrounding neighborhood.
No charge!
The 2007 goes in for an overdue 60k service Monday morning, so figured I would get the gunk out before new plugs go in. Differentials and transfer case will get new fluids and hopefully the stealership will not tell me there are dozens of things that MUST be fixed.
Will bolt on the new aluminum RCI front skid plate when I get it back. Already removed the front stock plate. Hit the rusted areas with the wire wheel and it was Swiss cheesed. Glad I got the new plate delivered in time to swap it out.
No charge!

TSS/Texas Edition/T Force. They have several names.
There is one other member on here that has them. I've wanted them since I saw them back in 2012 when I bought my 4runner. I already have the texas edition badges so this will just finish off the look.

Interior LED's
So I was thinking once I installed my interior led's. If you look at the places where you put the led's you will notice that theres nothing in those compartments to reflect the light outwards, its dull plastic. So what I did was I took some chrome tape that is used by HVAC guys and I lined the insides of the dome lights and door panels to give it more reflection and heres what happened....WOW what a difference!

I also did it to the two dome lights but for some reason even before putting the tape it looks like the covers give the lights a little yellowish tint. Not bad at all but I can notice it. I never smoked in my 4Runner and I'm wondering if its just from being 8 years old but why wouldn't the map lights be the same way? The map lights are crystal clear.

Once I knock out some work on the computer, planning on doing my first "work" on the new-to-me '05 today.
Picked up an OEM oil filter at the dealership and a big jug of Mobil 1.
Have a cabin air filter to put in (ebay)
Also picked up a front brake "fit kit" (2 springs) that will hopefully stop my brake pads from rattling over every bump.
Changing the oil on my previous 4R ('06 V8) was kind of a pain as the filter was hard to get to. Grateful for that nice, top of engine, V6 filter location.
My truck has 147k miles on it and it's had very regular oil changes, no leaks. Hoping the Synthetic doesn't create any problems (I'm really not anticipating any).

Other thank it being really hot out laying in my driveway, that went really well.
Oil change was simple, took exactly the 5qt Jug of oil.
Caliper spring change was quick and easy. They definitely reused old springs, they had no tension at all. The new ones make a difference though caliper rattle still happens over some bumps. Caliper slide pins were greased and moved easily, I'll re-grease them in the fall before snow flies.
Cabin air filter took about a minute and a half to do. Old one wasn't too dirty but the new one is a much more substantial, high quality piece.
Also stuck one of these on below my hazard switch and it's about perfect to hold my iphone. I'd eventually like a MagicMount system but for the minimal price, this will do for now.

After they finally got one, they ended up torquing them too much and cracked 3/4 caps. Thankfully the manager took care of it and reimbursed me for the 3 caps.

Personally if I were you I would have wanted my caps replaced.
They are being replaced. I went straight from discount to the dealership and had them order new ones. Took the invoice back to discount and they were gonna give me cash, but I told them just to refund what I paid for the mount/balance/wheel locks back to my credit card and that would be good. So they did.
They took care of it in the end. Now I just have to wait for my new caps, and wheel locks since they had to be ordered too.

removed the intake tube on my v6 to see how it sounds. adds a nice low tone to the intake, dont know if im going to drive it like this much but for the next few days im keeping it off the truck
