What did you do with your 4runner today?

I don't do any serious mods once the weather turns cold (you guys are way more dedicated than me that are out there doing suspension swaps and wiring lights and crap! )

but I did manage to add this today... by far my best mod to date, she smells good too

Got my back up lights mounted, they're not wired up all the way yet but hopefully tomorrow. I'm pleased with how they look.

Nice lights, but I think I'd have them ripped off within a day or two. I've thought about cutting a hole in the bumper and putting some in there, but I'm just going to wait until I have an offroad bumper to shove them in so they're protected.

I thought about that, but the hitch still sits lower barely, and the lights seem pretty tough. But if I do manage to Rip one off I'll just buy another and hook it up, they were only 20 bucks haha. I had thought about flush mount duallys in the bumper but decided against cutting up my bumper...for now

A few days late but I finally installed my Spec-D headlight assys with Kenson HID H1 bulbs, as well as my Pioneer 3600 head unit with SiriusXM. Cutoff is pretty good with the projectors though the light pattern itself leaves a little to be desired and they did require some adjusting before they were road legal. The head unit has been great, phone connection via Bluetooth has been flawless so far.

Installed a cabin switch to supplement my LED strobe controller. Required a little trimming of the cutout in the dash, but nothing major.

It's these, they look the same but different brand. Oh well they're cheap and pretty bright so I'm pleased. I feel you on the love for amazon. They have a huge distribution center like 20 mins from my house so most stuff i order i get in like a day or two haha

I think I may have to do those until I can afford an offroad bumper. Can't see shit most of the time while trying to back up. Need to wire them to a switch also so that I can flip them on if needed at will.

Got the back up lights wired up, they're pretty bright. Here's a few pics but I'll put more in my build thread later for anyone curious on how I installed them.

Jim Barkley Toyota scratched my 4runner.

They're making it right at the body shop.

I'm driving a 2014 tacoma which is pretty nice, very tight when you drive it.

I noticed in 4Lo the traction control goes off?

I like my 4th gen so much better it isn't even funny.

Little things, like when I start the truck, I keep only flicking the key and the tacoma doesn't start.

Hate that Jim Barkley scratched yours. Glad to hear they are taking care of you. They always took good care of me and my 4x4 HiLux when I lived in Hendersonville.

That's how I have mine hooked up. I have them on an fj switch and then wired to always hot so I can turn them on when the keys are out of the car
