Finally installed the smokers kit. I still plan on transforming my center console from a 05 to an 08+, until then, this will do.

There's also a small light when you open the trap door (where the ashes go).

so what did you do this time to make it fit? was it fully stuff in there now.

i need 285's....how much trimming did you have to do?

Depends on how much lift you have, what offset rims or spacers you have, what tires you have, everything. Some trim none, or very little while others have to trim a bunch. You will have to move the liner forward in front of the tire as that stupid looking piece that hangs down will get in the way. Doesn't take much, just unscrew to bolts and zip tie it forward. Some people have had to trim their body mount with meatier tires too, but again it all just depends on your choices in lift/tires/rims/spacers.
I'd say, lift it, put the tires on and do what is necessary. It is really easy to trim all those potential spots that get in the way and if you take your time it looks good.

The smokers kit? Zero. Snaps right it. I guess you are talking about the 08 console that I haven't gotten to yet. I'm 99% sure of the wiring, I just have to "get to it". Fishing wires is crazy easy. I did find out the 2 outlets that are on the 08 console are no longer available and the ones I have aren't technically the right ones. Difference? The finish on the outlet covers are different (from the factory they are smooth, if you get them separately like I did, they have a grainy texture). Anyway, I kinda like the smokers kit.

Scratch Remover

The weather here in PA has been somewhat mild today so i decided to tackle something that has been bugging me since I acquired my 4runner two weeks ago. The Door handle scratches were horrible the pics do no justice. This is how the turned out with Scratch X 2.0

Had a busy weekend getting the truck cleaned up. Decided to stop on the way home from work and snap a couple of pictures since I hadn't updated my build thread in a while.

Thanks! They do look quite similar, you've got good taste. I've been trying to add my own personal touches to keep things at least a little different and unique with this build. I need to start taking more pictures, I'll be adding more updates here soon.

thanks for the info. i ask him specifically cause my build is pretty much identical minus the tire size. same lift/wheels.

I'll have to take a pic when there's better sun light. Found one of these metal emblems on ebay. Planning on debadging the rear and putting another TRD on the lift gate

I joined the stuck caliper club. Both rears frozen solid.
