What did you do with your 4runner today?

Thats right all 8 bolts broke. What was left was very badly corroded. Already broke 3 drill bits trying to drill new holes to tap. Also one of the bolt holes in the radiator support bracket for the front plate is completely stropped out. Going to either get a time-sert in there or might just get a longer bolt and put a nut on the top of it.

Feel for you man.

I am still putting off drilling out the ONE I broken on my skid plates. I broke like 5 drill bits And hung it up.

I have left handed bits ready to roll.

Hope you get them. Take your time.

Took the rear plastic bumper cover off to get a better look on the inside you might say.
Thinking on a possible next project, little more challenging.

Loving my FJ. The aftermarket is incredible for this! Light bar mounts cost me $90, installed in 10 minutes, and work perfectly.


Got a front bumper for $500, snorkel, 5 piece budbuilts ($1060 new plus powder coat, paid $500), All Pro uniball UCAs ($600-700 new, paid $50 plus $178 for new uniballs and hardware), and a whole bunch of other things for a steep discount off fellow FJ owners. Can't freakin complain!

Only things I miss about my 4R:
Sunroof
Rear window
The headers and y-pipe I put on it...

Cleaned MAF sensor, cleaned and polished throttle body, and a clean six and half quarts of Mobil1.
