My HU came in today. All I gotta do now is order an amp & I'll be in business.
Sweet! I just ordered the 3700BHS to replace my old Alpine HU.
I've been researching for a month now and just finally pulled the trigger on one!

Amen to that, I recently battled that topic. Crutchfield has always been great to me, you get to essentially test them to see if you like for 60 or 90 days.
I went through three different units.
2015 Pioneer AVH-X3600BS - didn't like, cant turn the beep off (my biggest complaint, I don't want to hear click click beep every time I do something. freaked out on my Bluetooth twice, wasn't easy to navigate
2014 JVC KW30BT - Oudated, good working just looked old
2014 Kenwood DDX371 - (finally settled on this one) I like a good turn knob, this units is great. I wanted the new 2015 style knob, but was small and not easily gripped.
some good refurb deals on Kenwoods on crutchfield ;-)

My kids have asked me a couple times what the openings in the front of my stereo are....one being the CD player and the other a cassette player.....lol. I have a jack for my iPod but would much rather just have bluetooth capabilities.

Just got a bottle of the Shine Supply Trim Shield. Once i get the replacement cladding pieces i am going to try it out. Can't wait!

Trim Shield should darken up your cladding and look good! Ill check the RCI out. This one is almost non salvageable

I can't wait to see how long it lasts over their Trim Shine. As soon as i get some free time i am going to pull my rack off and do a full paint resto.

Walked out to get something and though, ah lets take a pic! Haven't posted a new pic with the "back to gray painted plasti dip"
This pic does remind me of what all I need/want to do.
1. [MENTION=50591]gaterose[/MENTION] paint the lower portion of my grill white(this was mentioned to me, ah 1.5 year ago)
2. restore my headlights, or swap to the 07's I have in the garage
3. paint lower bumper center to white
4. Black out fogs
5. hmm, maybe even go back to stock grill instead of the Hilux Frankenstein (bet I get PM's on that comment)
