Yeah, I don't really want the full color matched. I've been debating on doing something with the middle piece of the chrome grille.

Where did you find a pre-painted grill?
Rockauto has some black plastic grills for $90, but you do have to paint them. If there were a place that sold the pre-painted grills for a reasonable price I'd go that route...

You can buy the grills, handles, and rear hatch trim from the dealer, already painted. I think the grill was around $160, I would have to check. Worth it, perfect paint match and can't beat OEM fresh.

This is the site I want to order mine from, but haven't forked the money over yet. Hard for me to pay that when there are more functional mods I still need to do.

I need to replace my AC condenser, planning on doing that myself at some point. But until then, can I pull a fuse or relay or something and just turn my AC compressor, etc."off" completely?

I know that when I use the "defrost" setting it activates the AC in some way to dehumidify the air, and I'd like to stop that for now.

Thoughts?

That seems to have worked. AC button now flashes when pressed. I also don't hear anything engaging when I push defrost.

Doesn't look that hard to swap out the AC Condenser (>$100 part, sits in front of the radiator) so I should really fix that.
