What did you do with your 4runner today?

Changed the oil today at 116k..
Anyone ever use one of those Fumoto oil valve things with budbuilt skids? Looks like there is plenty of room to protect it. Anyone got the proper part number for the v8? I don't like Oil dripping onto the back of my skids.. :(

Also, getting ready to change out my cv boots, torn on drivers side and badly worn boot on the passenger. Any points, tips, and specific links for help would be appreciated. Also, what grease does everyone recommend?

Thoughts on Cardone HD axles vs rebooted stock cv's?

I was planning on tearing the smartcord apart and some how wiring it. By the way i have a escort redline if that makes a difference

That was sic with it, not the trail but that being your first gopro vid with the perfect song choice from one of and still greatest metal bands. The sped up video sequence ,the rain storm, with Slayer blood reign..dope then in the middle you start back from the begining song breaks and you go zummin off the opposite way. For no actual action off roading that was pretty cool it kept me thinking something bi***in is gonna happen.

Yeah the 20 mins of video wasn't bad to watch. I got some good puddles/splashes that you can't really see with it sped up. I mean, it's not a bad watch, but I know how people on the internet have a short attention span. I just wanted to keep it simple and to the point. Almost makes me want to get another GoPro so I can do two angles at once. Right now it's right in the middle of my bumper in front of the Toyota Emblem for the POV. We'll see how it does with the run a couple weeks.

thats funny I just got my first go pro and all of the different attachment's a couple weeks ago so we could get footage out in mojave and havent even taken the memory card out (which is full) to see what we got yet!
Is is hard to do all that editing,adding music? then there's the whole thing of how to get it from you tube to T4R site.
I guess i gotta figure it out, watching yours made me wonder how cool of footage I may have got, if nothing atleast make it into something with some editing,music and what not.
I will be bringing mine as well for the Oct run. Maybe we can stick mine on your ride as well for a different view/angle. Or one aiming forward and the other aiming back at the rest of the group and stick you in the middle, that might be sick to watch and it would capture everything and everyone.
then add some Slayer and we got ourselves video of the year..lol

I have zero video editing experience (plenty of photo editing though) and the GoPro software made things a breeze to throw together a simple video with music. Pick the clips you want, convert them, edit them using one of their included templates or blank (think I did blank on this one) then export it out.

I need to buy more attachments so I can have alternate locations. Right now I just used one of the included sticky mounts (which appears to be very much a part of my front bumper now) to record that one. We can figure out what we want to do once we see how many people show up. I have a 64gb card in mine so it's good for about 5 hours of video, I just need to pick up a spare battery.

Thanx glad to hear they made editing, for myself Jeramiah (dum dum) proof.

Cool, yeah I notiuced the same once you use them thats it, they stay. I have a bunch of double's of different attachments since ( I found them on clearance )and stickys so no worries on that, I think the extra battery I bought was like 30-40 bucks Wallymart, but I do need to get a bigger mem card like you :rockon:

New Parts!!

Stoked... I just picked up at local dealership my All new pulleys no.1 no.2 no.2 , serpintine belt,pulley bolts, pulley washers, pulley spacer and added new air filter, oil filter along with new spark plugs.

Now to just get started....
