What did you do with your 4runner today?

Which brand and size body lift did you go with?

I only went with a 1/2 kit. Cheap and easy. Got it off eBay. Nice quality

After driving chicago to seattle in late August I finally got around to changing my oil and filter. Everything had been changed right before the drive. There was some grit in the oil, luckily it wasn't metallic and crumbled easily so I didn't think much of it. Feels like it runs smoother and quiet.

Still need to get it cleaned, suspension upgraded and lifted (i think my original is dead at 127k) as the ride quality has gotten harsh and bouncy, and would live to put some new wheels and tires on.

Washed the last 2 months of dirt off it this morning. Would have left it dirty but I scraped a couple bushes yesterday and I wanted to clean up the pin stripes with the buffer.

Today I fixed my CB because apparently you can't crimp 16 ga wire to coax :fish: (normally not this stupid) but I soldered some new coax on there and tuned it up with my SWR meter (anyone in atl need to borrow one?).

Do any of y'all know if you need to ground the tailgate if the antenna is mounted there? I've read that the bearings and grease in the hinges can make for a poor ground.

I gave up on my hatch mount and bought a Lil Wil Wilson mount for the time being because I couldn't get a solid enough ground from the hatch to get a good SWR. Eventually I'm going to make a mount for under the tail light or the bumper.
