Thanks a lot! Just trying to decide when it comes to buying a new system. I want a unique sound, but a little aggressive and loud. This sounds a little more subtle and sporty - not bad!

either a borla or magnaflow with no resonator will get u the sound, maybe a no loss in back pressure, if you want more sound , then flowmaster super 44, you do loose some back pressure. this is my 3rd setup, first i had the cherry bomb vortex, it was ok till it cracks on the welds, then the flowmaster super 44, it was a deeper and louder tone, i did do a side by side test to another 4runner with magnaflow catback, the magnaflow was more quieter at idle, then i got the borla at a good price, hard to pass, even though the muffler guy said it was a best price for something used and old, atleast it was good condition. i think if i wanted more volume, i would take the resonator off, but so far i think i prefer the quieter tone.

Busy weekend! I had to pull the tent off the rack to change the mounting height (needed lifted to make the straps more accessible) and took the opportunity put on the lights I picked up off Amazon.
I also added some switches next to the door cubby lights, allowing me to turn them off when not needed, like when camping and I don't want bugs flying into the truck.
Finished up for the day, the tent is at the right height now, and has some rubber spacers to eliminate the few squeaks I had, the scene lighting is installed, and will get wired up this week at work. Not too bad for a days worth of work.

adjusted the front liners and heated up the front mud flaps. The wheels I got recently moved the wheels out noticeably so I had some decent rubbing with just 265/70/17s So..
I found it easier to use a scrap piece of wood as a wedge heat the mud flap and let it cool with it in there ( which didn't take long as its 30* in north Idaho )
Worked mint no more rub and I kept the mud flaps, sweet.

Started on my lift. We would probably have had the front done but my buddy banged a thread putting the CV in and we didnt notice until we tried to get the axle nut on. Had to pull it and use the other sides.
Day 1 and we got one corner done :moping:
When I went to remove the fender liner it just turned to dust, so I guess I dont need one of those anymore, haha.

She got an oil change, a bath, and a fresh coat of wax this weekend. I managed to buff out the pinstripes on one side, but just as I was finishing that side my mounting plate decided to self destruct so couldn't do the other side. Wax cleaned it up good enough for now though. Time to order a new plate and some fresh pads for the buffer.

Yeah I actually like the cherry bomb vortex setup you had, maybe because of its lower tone. So I may just go with flow master because of that nature it has to it, of course it'd be a lot easier to decide in person lol. But I'm looking for a nice loud sound to eventually accommodate a new air intake and supercharger. I think all 3 will give me exactly what I'm looking for, but that's far down the road from now so it's def nice to get an idea. 'Preciate it man

I wish they made realistically affordable rear flares that would kinda match. The one from Japan is ridiculously priced.
