Installed new inner tie rods and decided to try a new brand, new for me. Last time I went with Moogs and they were whatever, didn't last long neither. But this round I went with ProForged which I was shocked to see and feel how much bigger and beefier they are compared to the Moogs all around as you can kinda tell in the pics. So all the first impressions and comparisons are great.
I also removed the grease that came packed on the tie rod and repacked them with Tri Flow Grease
Now for the actual handling and road test approval ...which of course is done by the Misses since hers the only review/decision and stamp of approval is the only one that matters (from what I'm told all the time). Her leaving for the test run so the jury is out and waiting on a verdict...

Also replace my blowin top hats and rubber shock mounts. Install two new complete KYB top mount kits to replace the original oem ones after 262k on them lol. As you can see in the pics how blowin out the shock stem hole is in comparision to the new one. So it's just been slopping/banging around in there and the supposed to be "attached" top hat bottom bushing was not so attached and just fell out upon removal and the top hat rubber shock mount was completely cracked and pancaked.
I will say this by far ...out of all mods, upgrades, and repairs, this has been probably one of thee most noticeable and cheapest best feeling upgrade/replacement I have done. What a feeling seriously and the best part my rig is quiet now when going in/out of the driveway and over bumps and dips!!!
I would like to thank [MENTION=101553]t-man[/MENTION] for always preaching this to others by recommending that you should order complete top shock mount kits whenever replacing/installing new shocks ..,for this reason right here. Wish I would have listened/looked sooner. Thanx brotha

Issue with aftermarket inner tie rod ends is they don't have as much droop compared to OEM. So when you wheel they will slightly pull out the socket and loosen up. I've tried three brands before going back to OEM.

So, while it's apart for gears and lockers I POR15'd the rear axle. Got the switches for the lockers installed and the relay box I made mounted to the bottom of the drivers seat since there wasn't room for it under the dash or behind the kick panel. I put the Locking and Unlocking let's in the box so in the future if I have any issues it will be an easy troubleshooting tool.

Cleaned up after an awesome Moab trip. Also repaired my 2 month old FrontRunner rack after a break during the trip. Those little cuts where they fab the load bar are a definite bad design factor.
Load with barely any gear too. Super concerning.

they were responsive on Instagram… Haven't gotten back to my email.
either way, my confidence in the product is severely diminished. assuming they do the right thing, and replace it, I'll still need to reinforce it to have any peace of mind on a real load.

Sorry that happened to you man. Hope you get it figured out with them. Now I know to steer clear and get something else. Since Gobi are cunts looks like its just Baja rack left.

That's exactly what the moogs did and I was noticing the same thing in comparison to the oems but didn't realize it's the aftermarket tie rods in general.

I'll give a good plug for Baja Rack- When I got mine it sat in the box for a month before I got around to putting it on. When we were lifting I onto the roof I noticed it was bent. Box looked perfect so I don't know how it happened. Contacted Baja and they contacted the shipper who said it wouldn't do anything since it had been a month. Didn't hear anything for a couple days so I was planning on calling them when my wife called and said the truck was back again with another box. Called them to see about shipping the bent one back and he said keep it. So, I used it for six years and just sold it and mounted up the new one that's been sitting in the garage. Haha.
