What did you do with your 4runner today?

FINALLY got the money from the insurance company to fix the 4Runner. Trying to be patient so I can order things when they are on sale, but I am not very good at being patient. And I have to wait until March for new @c4fabrication bumpers, so it's killing me. It kind of sucks getting a check for $8500 and already having it spent. My 4Runner isn't "pretty" like a lot of these shiny mall crawlers in here but it sure is gonna look nice when this stuff finally gets done.

It's not a mall crawler. It's an AIT (armored infant tranport) when in the city, a TT (troop truck) when on camping duty, or a RTT (road trip transport) when heading to a ski resort or other exotic fun location not involving towing my RV.

Put on some new General Grabber AT2's (265/70R17) and some 1.25" wheel spacers. She's lookin sexy! A little rub, but fixed it for now by moving the liner forward a bit. Debating on taking off the flaps. Next up/next week, OME suspension!

Replaced my 6 spark plugs with new OEM ones from a $20 Ebay score since they were at the 30k mile interval and sourced an exhaust rattle to a broken clamp. Always nice each time I work on the 4Runner to know I save money on labor costs from not having the dealer do these smaller tasks.

Cut, polish, IPA wipedown, two coats of ultima sealer on paint and wheels. Will top coat with wax tomorrow once sealer is cured then she's cleaned up from summer adventures, ready for winter....adventures.

Installed CBI ditch light brackets and ready for the led pods. Brackets took a bit longer that expected, due to all my tools were in a box and i didnt want to brake anything.

Beefed up my front end with a little (a lot of) help from [MENTION=95673]SAR_Runner[/MENTION] Painting it, swapping my 06 grille on, mounting my lightbar and choosing a winch is next. Lost about 1/2" on my 884 springs, so prob. install 885 or 886 springs depending on which winch I decide on.

RCI skids getting ordered tomorrow, followed by skids at some point

Not too much really. Widen rear upper mount holes from 7/8 to 1" and grind down 1/8" off the sides of the front lower mount eyes. I'm going to do a full write up with pics once I'm done, am at the point of grinding the fronts now.

Today I installed my Anti-Dark engine light.

It rained like crazy last night and my rear hatch didn't seal properly the last time I closed it!! Everything inside the rear cargo area was soaked this morning. Hubby removed the carpets and let it dry out in the garage with the furnace running full blast. She's nice and dry now and I won't have to worry about mildew and bad odors. Did I mention the garage is FULL? LOL
