Finally installed the wheels I really wanted prior to running the Level 8 MK6's...
17x8 -10

Finished the rear brake job. One of those damn springs holding a e-brake shoe popped loose, took many attempts before I could get the retainer back on.
Replaced the marker bulbs in the headlights with Sylvania Zevo LED
Nice amber/yellow color but really not much brighter than the original incandecscent bulbs, didn't expect them to be, just wanted to put in something that should last a good long time since they're not too easy to access.

If that access hole (for turning the self-adjuster) on the hub flange were larger things would've been so much easier, but nooooo instead of being able to get to those retainers and springs directly you have to do it at an angle. My fingertips still hurt from getting the damn thing on.
I got them from my local Advance Auto Parts, don't know if that parts store chain exists in CO but you could also get them at AutoZone.
Honestly if they weren't in stock and on special I wouldn't have tried them. If you're looking for a brighter 194 LED get them from Diode Dynamics or VLEDS and take advantage of their Black Friday deals.

This is on a GX470,was easier doing the bulb swap and the side reflector/marker makes a good reference. The front facing lens at the bottom of the headlight also uses a 194.
The side reflector is the usual yellow/amber, just looks reddish in the pics, with a 194 bulb in the center, hence the "blob" of light and not a fully illuminated area.
Amber 194 incandescent bulb, replaced these last year and the color coating is already faded. In person color is more of a dirty white than yellow and much dimmer than pictured.
Sylvania Zevo amber
In real life the color was a richer yellow, and although my phone's camera doesn't show it, is actually brighter than the original incandescent since there's a lot more mirrored areas in this lens compared to the 4Runner's marker.

has anyone tried to put 255/80/17 on a 2/1 lift? thinking i might try and go taller with my next set of tires. right now im running 255/70/18 with wheel spacers and trd off road front coils on .85 and fj rear coils. thinking of removing the front spacers and trying to fit a 33 without lifting the 5100s anymore
