Replaced both front wheel bearings today. Drivers side was a whole spindle w/ hub assembly off a GX470 to rule out a bent spindle destroying my bearings. I didn't know my passenger side was bad until Friday so I bought a used one from the scrap yard to get me by. Something is still making a little noise though and I suspect the passenger side although it looked and felt fine before install.
Broke a caliper bolt on the old spindle, and they came in packs of 2 at the parts store so I just bought 4 new ones for less than $10. Replaced inner wheel seals after cleaning surfaces as good as possible to rule out that factor too.
I need a new passenger side cv as the boots are failing. Not bad, Cordone HD unit I bought off rockauto lasted 3 years. So I'll be replacing that soon. Also found my passenger side caliper is froze right up, and that's under warranty, thank you autozone! So I'll be swapping that out real soon. Need rotors and pads too as I have warped rotors... Summer towing in heavy traffic did a number on the rotors.

That bearing is pretty much what mine looked like when I took it off.
There appears to be a sensor near the spline. Is that ABS or VSC? I'm leaning towards it being VSC. I was careful to clean around it, don't need to bust anything else.
I'm about pro status on wheel bearings these days... 6 on drivers side, 4 on passenger. Ugh. Lol
That is the abs sensor and the vsc system runs off that too. They are wheel speed sensors to keep track of everything. DON'T break it! Lol

10 bearings total? What year is your 4runner?
05. I think I did first set wrong, and didn't put inner seals on correctly the first 2 sets, and then I apparently bent a spindle slightly causing more issues which I just found out and swapped last weekend. Also my tires have become out if round and vibrate, so... To many issues at once. Remedying them 1 by 1 currently though.

Wow! You've got quite a lot this early in the season. We don't usually see snow until Jan, and between Jan and March we will get several feet. In 2015 we saw 17 feet! It varies quite a bit for us, being coastal and all. Have fun with all that white stuff!

How do you bypass it? One of my sensors is busted and it always blinks. I don't need it because I always check the pressure.

TPMS Bypass
Just put this in the search tool bar TPMS Bypass, there is a great write up on how to do it. There is a couple of methods on bypassing the system, I chose to pull the harness and jump the pin connectors. I did this last week and everything is working fine! Hope this helps

Wow! You've got quite a lot this early in the season. We don't usually see snow until Jan, and between Jan and March we will get several feet. In 2015 we saw 17 feet! It varies quite a bit for us, being coastal and all. Have fun with all that white stuff!
Its been a blast so far. We got roughly 14 inches over a 24 hour period. alot more to come over the next few months.

Swapped out my black housing 05 head lights for the 06 OEM head lights. I like the cleaner look alot .
I had to order a 9006 to h11 adapter. Which learned the hard way by trying to plug in the old ones.

Pulled into a jobsite to drop a guy off and after putting it in reverse and turning the wheel I heard a clunk. Got out to look and one of the 2 bolts holding the lower balljoint cage had fallen out completely letting the cage move!! 
now, I remember specifically torquing that bolt too... Had 2 spare bolts at home, 25 miles away, and the wife brought it to me. Installed, torqued, checked other side and they were loose too!! Stopping on my way home tonight and buying some more loctite... This would have been really bad going down the slippery, snowy road at 60mph and the tire decides to turn like the tie rod is broke. Ugh.

New red loctite reapplied on those bolts EVERY time they come out! Torque to 225 Nm (166 ft-lbs)
I live off Gleco and Evergreen, but am in Tanasborne area a lot. I go to Chipotle for luch 3-4 times a week too haha. Ill keep an eye out for you too!
