Yesterday I installed my Rigid Ignites and my sPOD. I'm not done with the wiring as I lost daylight, and was exhausted, but it's a lot cleaner!

Hopefully going to find some time to rotate my tires this weekend. I'm doing a four tire rotation instead of five, and I am curious how most people do it.
I've heard most people bring the rears forward, and then bring the fronts back on the opposite side, such as the pic below. Is that the best way or are there better ways to do it?

I do what NinjaOne does. Front tires go to the back crossed, back tires come forward straight. I want my tires to wear as close to even and the same as I can, so if one tire is getting more worn somewhere than others, I want to cycle through that spot, spreading the wear across all tires
By switching them side-to-side on their way to the rear of the vehicle, it lets the rear end handle more the imperfection adjustment (wearing that part of the tire that hasn't been worn yet) rather than the front. So my tires get 'evenly' worn (or pretty close to it) and I don't feel it in my steering wheel while it's happening. At least that's how it's been explained to me, how I've read, and what I've seen many tire shops do if not specifically requested by the customer to rotate otherwise.
I hope that makes sense...it sounds convoluted as I'm typing it...but it make sense in my head.
Mind you if you have directional tires (say on another vehicle, probably a car, but maybe on your 4runner, I don't judge), then front to back, no crossing, is the only option. If I had a car with different wheels in back than in front (i.e. wider tires in back), well then I'd have to go side to side. For non-directional, same size tires on all 4 wheels, rearward cross is what I've mostly seen.

No that made sense. Thanks! I am running KO2s so not directional lol. I've heard the cross pattern is good for tires like these for that exact reason. It does change the wear pattern a bit, but mostly by wearing the parts that haven't been worn yet. I think I'm gonna try the rearward cross and see how it goes. Can't imagine it will change too much.

Busy maintenance day. Full ATF exchange using the cooler return line method described on this site. 13 qts., pretty messy, about on par with a diff fill. The original fluid was dark of course but it looked pretty good, the light shined through it with decent color so I think Ill just do it every 100k as I don't tow and run an aux. tranny cooler.
Also cleaned the MAF and throttle body, a little dirty but not as bad as Ive seen, I run BG 44k every 20k or so.
Installed a rear bump stop relocation bracket / spacer to account for the lift / new travel path of the rear axel. Been putting this off for while, should be good now.
Also installed a 10mm trim spacer on the drivers side rear to correct the Toyota lean, should be level now.
My back hurts and I fell off the lift I was using while monitoring the transmission fluid exchange but I do love wrenching on this truck!

Got my Gobi Stealth rack delivered on Tuesday and put it on last night. Pretty easy process and I'm beyond happy with the results!!

Confirmed the CEL was indeed bank 1 catalytic converter went bad so getting it replaced today. I replaced bank 2 a few years ago. Hopefully getting this fixed will be the last expensive issue for awhile but overly can't complain after 12yrs and 190k miles so far.

Care to share how you did it? Which heaters did you use? Where did you wire them and how difficult was it removing the stock cloth cover?
