Mine took me 10hrs the first time I detailed mine. But that white paint was so buttery feeling. If you post pics when you are done it may motivate me to do mine again when the weather cooperates.

Had some time this weekend so I threw on my PIAA driving lights while re-wiring my bumper PIAAs to a separate standalone switch.

I spent the day cutting, polishing, and waxing my white 4runner. I would say I have a solid 6 hours in it and I am maybe 1/3 done. Whomever said this was a 20 hour job was right on the money. But well worth it.

I went to Sedona. Had a lot of fun on Broken Arrow Trail and made it UP Devils Staircase!

- Finally installed my rear light bars. Mounted securely to my roof rack, need to hide the wires better though. Compliments the front light bar nicely.

- Did the ZPC reset which took all of 30 seconds.. Can't believe I didn't do this months ago when I bought the truck. All the dash lights are off now, a truly beautiful sight. Next I need to wire in a switch!

- Got the 2 in 1 key fob which is pretty nifty

- Tried to clean it a bit which is pretty pointless since I have to leave it parked under trees at my apartment...

Received daystar 2.5/1.5 kit and 265/70R17 BFG KO2 during the weekend, also RCI front&tranny skid on order, will have the tires and spacers installed this week. Stoked.

What did you do with your 4Runner today?

This weekend I installed a Toytec 3" ultimate lift with Light Racing UCA's. In the attached pictures I show a stock picture on my runner then a look at my new suspension and UCA's. Very pleased with the After picture and how this lift came out! It kept the stock rake while gaining a true 3" lift up front and 3.5" in the rear because HD coils. I did this install myself and I will say anyone could do this on their own, but it was very time consuming and took me almost 12hrs total work time. I did the rear by myself Saturday and the hardest part was the dang spring compressors I had to do by hand. I had a friends help on Sunday and we tackled the front pretty easy other than breaking the ball joints loose. Fun process and very happy with the outcome!!! Now she needs new longer wheel studs, wheels and tires!

You really shouldn't need them with the 5100s, they will just limit your up travel. I would like to see somebody confirm this by cycling their suspension making sure the 5100s don't bottom out before the stock bump location but I'm pretty sure they won't.

I was questioning them running a 3.5" lift spring with 5100's. I thought they were too short for my 2" springs unless they are a longer part number.

I'm not sure. Now that you bring it up I'll probably do some checking on total clearance and make sure the bump stops don't limit me in anyway.
