Looks like they're covers. Not sure why you'd want less light output though? It's also illegal in many states iircDoes any light even make it through that tint?
That is a horrible DIP job dear lord! Now get a picture of them on the rig on already!

Wise choice! No, I'm returning them. I thought that I was buying blacked out interiors with clear lenses, but when they got here, I thought they looked cool so I installed them. Way too dark. Luckily, the company I bought them from is taking them back. Live & learn.
More dirt biking, to be followed by more this weekend. Sorry 4runner you're getting used not pampered this weekend.![]()
How much does that bike weigh? And do you notice it much?More dirt biking, to be followed by more this weekend. Sorry 4runner you're getting used not pampered this weekend.
I have (pretty much) the same bike. Weighs around 300#. I put airbags in my rear springs and, with them, I hardly notice the weight at all.How much does that bike weigh? And do you notice it much?
I've had fleeting thoughts of hauling my CBR around like that, but I don't think it'd work quite as well as something like yours...
Hmm, the CBR is ~120lbs more than that and probably a bit longer/wider. I might try it once I get some heavier duty springs in the rear. Possibly airbags. Probably out of the question for stock suspension thoughI have (pretty much) the same bike. Weighs around 300#. I put airbags in my rear springs and, with them, I hardly notice the weight at all.

Thanks for the advice! Looks like Versahaul actually has a sport bike carrier (and their pictures show a Honda F4i, the somewhat less sporty version of my bike, on it. So I should be good). That said, I'd definitely invest in some airbags and a Class IV hitch if I went this route (V6 problemsThis bike weighs around 230lbs wet (more with mud) but I've hauled some 350lb bikes on this same carrier from harbor freight which is questionable although they claim it can hold 400 lbs. I've used it for 2 years and many miles with no issues.
I would recommend Versahaul brand for a heavier bike, my buddy hauled a KTM 990 adventure 500 lbs+ on it no issues on a VW toureg with air suspension.
Bringing up the tongue weight issue, this picture here is with firestone airbags inside the coils aired up to 30psi before loading the bike. They make it so it doesn't sag but at 30psi it rode stupid stiff in the rear. I could have let some air out but I hate the saggy rear end feeling. I would highly recommend air bags for any hitch hauling, just play with the air settings, and airing them up before loading vs after will make a big difference.

I have a Joe Hauler which is great. I always have an anti-sway device on there. My KTM 530 weighs 251 dry, closer to 275 with all fluids. The hauler is another 100-150, so I figure total weight is somewhere around 425 to 450 pounds. I run my airbags (Airlift 1000) at 25 psi which keeps things level but still compliant. This bike weighs around 230lbs wet (more with mud) but I've hauled some 350lb bikes on this same carrier from harbor freight which is questionable although they claim it can hold 400 lbs.
