What did you do with your 4runner today?

Passed inspection this morning. Now I can tinker with some light window tinting, and plan to put this side exit Gibson exhaust that's been sitting in my shop for a while. :dancin:

That's a nice job on that grill Matt. I'm assuming you removed, sanded, primed and painted... or was it easier than that?

Exactly that and then some. I just used a rattle can that was paint + primer in one. haha

my process was just:

remove > sand > paint > wet sand > paint > clear coat > wet sand > clear coat

Ordered a knuckle seal and brake line a few weeks ago.

finally got around to doing it today.

Polished up my instrument cluster lenses. The stuff worked great, just a couple of minutes with a microfiber cloth.

Did this today too and also recommend PlastX. An important point though - don't leave it to dry as you would wax. Directions say to remove it before it dries. Failure to do that could be the reason behind some of the mixed reviews I've seen. In my experience, this stuff works great both on the cluster and the headlights.

This is perfect, I was looking for a replacment of my crappy old looking cluster

I don't know about you guys but I hate looking in my wheel wells and see it all ragged out and gross. My engine splash guard have just deteriorated. I can't keep them clean from wheeling trips and daily use either. I look at T4R for some ideas and found Rad rubber designs. I figured for $50 bucks it was worth a shot. I'm very impressed at how well they are made. Super beefy and cut perfect for my 06 v8. Came with everything I need to install them. Didn't take long at all. I also paint the wheel wells real quick before installing. Took some picture of the before,during, and after.

Installed the Clazzios. They went in smoothly. I am very happy with the craftsmanship and the fit. They also look like they will hold up over time.

I've had Coverkings in the past with mixed results. Got a good set on one truck and a poor quality set on another truck about six years later.

Only did the front two seats so far. Install took about 45 minutes per. Patience and diligence will return the best results.

Added a TRD emblem to my grill, finally complete and pleased with the outcome.

Bought it! (Friday, actually.) It's a 2010 Limited, mostly stock. Looks like the only mods it's had are Black Rhino 20x9 wheels (with new 275/55/20s on them) and the X-REAS system has been replaced with Bilstein 4600s. Probably going to upgrade to the 5100s and lift the front a little bit to level it out. It's going to be my DD and only see a bit of occasional dirt road mileage. I'll also be using it to haul band equipment to and from gigs. No serious off-roading planned.
