In retrospect I think Noelle haste/impatience was to achieve the 15 required posts to be able to start a topic and ask the question that was posted many times instead, albeit it would have been better for Noelle to reply to 15 topics even in feint interest on the subject matter of the topic.
Hopefully Noelle will get a great T4R and become a active contributing member here.
Good luck Noelle and check that frame for rust, as T4Rs from areas with a lot of winter snow are prone to the frame rusting very badly to the point of structural failure due to the salt used to melt the snow from the roadways!!

One of the things about this truck that's been bugging me for a while now is the flap from the front seats has gotten droopy because the elastic that is suppose to hold it tight has failed. Pictures will show what I'm talking about. Anyways, I cut a small slit in the flaps with an xacto knife that's just big enough for a zip tie to fit through and zip tied it to a metal bar i found up under the seat. No more droopy flap [emoji1360]

That IS 690TOY set of 6x9 components cost $230 shipped.
I put a set of 6.5" woofers from a Focal AS3 comp set in my rear doors ($150).
I added a PPI i520.4 (4x100watts at 4 ohm...$109)
Everything sounds great. I'm waiting to get my 10w3 back from JL audio's repair facility. I'm thinking about upgrading to a 10w6 or maybe a 10w6 in JL's HO box.
Edit: Yea, I remembered to put the sound deadener on the rear door's speaker hole but forgot on the fronts. I thought about it after I buttoned everything back up in the front doors.
nice equipment, cant go wrong with a w6 in the ho box, youll love it, maybe a 12 since its only a little more. I need to upgrade my speakers since its aging, its about 4x more than your fronts when I paid for the k2ps back then. and I have polyglass line in the rear since I got them on sale from dealer brand trade in.

Over the weekend I finished my sound deadening project. Years before, I had put Rammat & CCF in the doors. I figured it was time to do the rest of the car. I ripped out the floor and rear side panels - leaving the headliner. I used a combination of Rammat, Hushmat and peel & seal. For CCF, I used whatever came with the Rammat, and Second Skin OverKill Pro. I covered 99.9% of surfaces with the matting, and maybe 60% of the surface with the CCF. The OverKill was so thick, I was worried about how the carpet would look & fit.
I also took the opportunity to steam clean & pressure wash the carpets. It looks a lot better, but still plenty of stains. Oh well.
Oh, and the 4Runner is much quieter now. I only got it up to 50mph, but it was obvious that it was much quieter. I was really able to tell the wind noise coming from the windscreen & maybe side mirrors. I also think I have cracked headers as can hear the cold-start ticking now.

Ive done several things to mine in the last week. I changed my oil to 5w30 M1 HM synthetic oil with one of the new 20k mile filters, I installed weathertechs, and I installed a Prodigy p3 brake controller.
Finally did the 06 headlight conversion. I did step it up a notch. Haven't seen anyone do this and a friend of mine works at Baja Design. So I got a pretty good deal on some Squadron Pro spot lights to use as high beams. Started with Depo's. Got them apart and and started to cut the high beam bezel to fit the BD lights. Added Morimoto switchback halos. Re wired the turn signals. Did the auto headlight conversion. All plug n play parts from the dealer. Added a Drl relay. My T4R didn't originally have drl's. Painted all the chrome flat black. G8 led's for the low beams. Aligning the high beams was the hardest part. I couldn't get the video to load but when the headlights are on the halos are white. They turn orange and flash with the turn signal. Also flash orange when in the drl setting.

Definitely like the looks of everything you did they came out *****in looking, very well thought out with perfect looking end results. Job well done.
The only thing I dont care for and that just me is the color contrast of the light output of the (high beam) squadrons and your( low beam) led bulbs & halo ring..just one of those small details that Im particular about. It would bother me if they were mine. My .02
But its not that often you'll have them both on at the sametime anyways.

we hosted a holy jim trail clean up sesh this past weekend. @oc_overland
crazy turnout. About 30 rigs coming and going. And maybe 60 ppl totall. It was amazing the community turn out. We had about 250 bags of trash.

Made a 5.5 HR haul back with this new toy. Time to join yet another forum. 4runner handled it very well with 35psi in the airbags before loading the bike on. Bike + hauler weigh around 500 lbs together. I did pull the seat and battery from the bike to make it less top heavy (would have preferred empty fuel tank too) and ran a strap from up high on bike frame to 4runner hitch chain hook for a little triangulation to help with the front to back stability. Hauled great! Versahaul sport rack.

I am headed out to see the solar eclipse, so I will put some pics up when I get back.
I bought my head unit (kenwood dnx 573x) at Crutchfield. They have the steering wheel units also. It was a simple install. The radio fits very nicely in our dash, and I even hooked up a rear view cam (unit will also accept a front cam).
They might not be the lowest price on the internet, but quick shipping, no tax, and the best customer service makes them one of my favorite dealers.

Cool headlights! I've thought of doing some LED's in my high beam but was concerned how the plastic housing would handle the extra weight/leverage of the LED lights mounted in the high beam bowls.
Are you mounted directly to the back of the housings or mounted onto the high beam reflector bowl? Any vibrations when going over bumps where the LED's bounce around?
Props for the creative idea.

These look freaking amazing. I would fail inspection instantly here in VA (I got failed for HIDs in my fogs this year), but God would I love to have em.
