almost have the transfer case down to replace it on my 2003 4runner i got it stuck in 4lo and have a replacement transfer case on the way. but i cant seem to get the driveshafts separated from the transfer case tonight

Quick oil change again with the fumoto valve. While draining I greased the zerks which seemed long overdue. I don't remember ever putting in that much grease and seeing the axle shaft push back with each pump? Is that normal?

Replacing lower control arms/sway bar bushings and end links. It's time to freshing up the 2003 V8 2WD suspnsion at 190K miles. Just recently upgraded with some UCAs with 285's.

With the ROSEN AV7900 I got a few years back, I want to have iphone connectivity with the monitors. Bought the connectors/adaptors/whatnot, but completely forgot that the iphone digital signal has to be converted to analog (RCA plugs). So I physically connected them, but neglected the type of signal being transmitted. Stupid me. Anyway, bought these 2 items from amazon.

As far as the rest; recently changed some HVAC bulbs. I'm painfully reminded that my 12V mod/reverse polarization project is still incomplete. Urghh.

I don't ever recall seeing my driveshaft move either with greasing it. Just put in a few squeezes, do one more, psyche myself out, call it good til next oil change.

The spider gears are easy. Just squeeze till it starts to come out.

picked up a set of Level 8 Tracker wheels for CHEAP!!!

They are used, but the wheels are almost brand new. not even one mark on them. The tires are about 30-40% left - ill get some tires later

The HID retrofit continues! All the headlight housing and projector shroud parts have been painted/baked with Duplicolor Engine Enamel. Did all the test fitments today and everything is looking great! Just need to run the High beam solenoid switch/demon eyes harness through a cable gland and I'll be ready to start actually putting them on the truck!

Switched Alpine HU display color from default blue to amber

I was able to complete stage one of my Stock++ build last week by replaced XREAS/RAS with Metal Tech coil conversion kit, Bilstein 5100s, lightly used 2016 TE coil springs, and front and rear Moog sway bar bushings and links. This gives me exactly the lift I need for going to 32" tires in the future and provides a supple yet firm ride. I tried it out on the Iron County Recreation Trail (UP of MI) and really like the way it rides.

Sometimes the simplest changes can be quite satisfying. This is not even a mod, just a minor change in settings: I switched the display color of my Alpine HU from the somewhat harsh default blue to amber, which blends in perfectly with the backlit LCD display above the HVAC controls. I also reduced the brightness a bit.
