About a cup so far. Didn't lose much after pulling the hoses as I had plugs for them. Not sure how much was actually in the old radiator but i''ve been checking the level and it says full still.

Finally got my Timing Belt service done on my 2006 v8! @ 105K
Replaced w/ Aisin Timing belt kit:
Timing Belt
Tensioner
3 idler pulley's
Water pump
also replaced:
t/stat
serp belt
Upper and lower radiator hoses
Replaced w/ Aisin Timing belt kit:

How much trimming did you have to do to fit those 285's? Also how bad is the rubbing if any? I've been eyeing some 285's myself

installed the 30mm prothane greasable bushings i bought from amazon. my clunk got worse!.
guess i didnt do a good job. will remove and reinstall.
a quick question to folks who installed the greasble bushings -- did you pump grease into the nipple immediately?..did any grease seep out?
grease seeped out between the bushing and the u cover when i did mine,,,doesnt sound right

Took care of the rust on the rear end of my 04 SR5. Bought it like this and decided to convert the rust using Corroseal and then undercoat with Rustoleum professional grade undercoating. Came out nice, but time will be the true test...

I wirebrushed all the loose rust off. The Corroseal gets applied with a paintbrush which is the hardest part of the job... especially without a lift. Lots of nooks and crannies when doing the rear axle. Frame is much much easier. And then the undercoating I used was in a spray can so that was pretty simple. The most important thing is to get the loose rust off, degrease everything, and use a high quality product like Corroseal. The spray on rust converters aren't worth shit in my opinion.
Haha... it actually came out of my previous car (wanted to have a piece of it with me before selling)... I will admit it looked much better there:

Bumper, fender liner, and body mount all got trimmed up. It wasn't too bad.

wassup with the speaker grill? do you guys really need to add another grill there when the door panel has one. how you liking your speakers? if you have a good deck or good amp, run the speakers active.

added another set of speakers, doing all active, go about 1277w RMS since im loading my amps at 2 ohms now, sounds pretty loud and clear at volume 50 with my deck that i set my gains at 59. these hertz sounding really nice, have my mids at 50hz to 2.5khz, tweeters at 2.5khz, lots of mid bass punch that you can feel to the chest. also i havent run my subs for a while since im still breaking this in.
