I just had new springs installed (Wheelers T1 and T12) to match the Bilstein 5100s that were already in there. Rear went up 2.5"! I guess I should have left the front clip on the first position and it would have been pretty close to level. Hoping the rear will settle a bit.

Joined the bandwagon and got two new key fobs from AJT Design. Switching them over was very straight-forward, and I'm very happy to have a much better fob case.

My tape deck crapped out (can’t even select it with button or mode on the wheel). This was my only way to jack in my iPhone (basically the only way I listen to music and podcasts).

Going to have to bite the bullet and do the full upgrade.

I’ve had to jump mine twice in the last week after sitting for multiple day’s in the deep freeze (it was -22F here yesterday).

Battery checks out ok once it charges back up on the road but I’ll be looking into an upgrade soon. In the meantime, I ordered a good jump pack.

If I do a dual battery setup, can one jump the other in this instance?

Yes, you could do this, but the only way to protect the second battery from also freezing would be to get an AGM (sealed) battery ($300-400~), and mount it in the interior somewhere. With that, you would want an Automatic Charging Relay ($200~) and 2 gauge wiring front to rear. And probably professionally installed ($400-$600~)

Might want to stick with that jump pack idea.

I don't have the service manual handy right now, but if memory serves.... it is 15k mi for severe conditions (e.g., towing) or 30k mi for regular use. I think some run longer intervals with syn oil...

Got a line on some SCS wheels locally at a vendor, ran up there an got the last set of SR8's for my new project. Super excited to finally get a set.

Got home and finalized my order for 5100 Bilstein's, full LED interior lights and FJ springs. Will get going on installing it all early next week when it arrives.

Two? Lol, didn't know we had another option. I got some from Toyota of Bellevue. I'm down in Olympia so I'm guessing the other is even further out.
