I went simple and got the Sylvania 6K LED 1157 white bulbs (not even the ZEVO ones) at WalMart. Just did the front DRL/turn signals. If the DRLs make them run too hot I will just switch the DRL's off in techstream and let the fogs go all the time (i did the anytime fog lamp mod already). If i do that i might go with the 1157A LEDs, but we will see.

Well yesterday was an interesting night but got that damn passenger diff axle seal in after little tap after little tap.

Well to my surprise I am not able to get the OEM brake lone off due to some rust. I have attempted to use BF penetration oil but no go. Suggestions are welcomed!

Changed the rear differential oil, pretty dirty, looked like it still had the original oil in it after 140,000 miles. Bolts came right out, was concerned after what I've read on here about them. Found it on Craigslist, one of the photos showed a glimpse of the frame, went and bought it that day.

The previous owner of my 4Runner had some kind of weird 'mouse' controller for an auxiliary MP3 player or something, and it left an ugly hole in one of the dummy switches on the center console. I took the opportunity to wire in a Blue Sea marine grade dual USB outlet.
I also did the overhead interior PFran LED light swap, plus back-up light.
All things I probably wouldn't have done myself had it not been for the helpful people here!

Prob need to replace unfortunately. Especially if you've twisted the line a bit back and forth trying to free it up. Sorry

Hi guys! New to the forum and 4Runners. Went and looked at a Lava Red Limited today that looked and felt great. It’s an Ohio/Michigan car with 109k and is a 2006. My question is do these pics seem like more rust than normal or is this what I should expect? Really sold on the car as long as this isn’t anything to worry too much about. Thanks in advance.

That frame looks immaculate and you live in Wisconsin? Looks like the previous owner took care of it.

They sure are! I was originally set on the matte black, but after seeing some good photos of the gloss gunmetal I went with them instead. Love the way they look with the galactic grey

I’m not the biggest fan of the wheels but I got them along with those duratracs for $1000 with only 500 miles on them from a Taco owner!! Couldn’t pass it up.

I picked up my Bilstien shocks at the post office today. Now I just need my springs and it will be ready to lift. On a side note I am getting a replacement scangauge 2 this evening under warranty from autozone. One of the LEDs for the backlight failed. Apparently Autozone offers a 3 year warranty.
