I got a CEL and the VSC, Tac, etc. lights on Saturday morning. Pulled the code and it was P0705. Did a little research on this awesome forum and figured out I had mis-connected my license plate light on my Wilco via the trailer hitch. Connected the wires correctly, cleared the code and I am back on the road with a functioning license plate light.

• Replaced rear 6.5”

• Installed sound deadening in all four doors

I love the way these tires look. Are they loud on the highway?

This is my first lifted rig with Big tires since my first rig which was a CJ5 w Mickey 33’s. That was back in like 93 and since it was a convertible w a soft top those were what I’d consider loud. But it’s not a fair comparison. I just drove like 200 Miles this weekend on the highway and I don’t think these tires are overly loud but you can definitely hear them. I don’t think they’re obnoxious though.

I’ll probably go with some AT tires and not MT’s next go round though.

These are 275x65x18 FTR.

If anyone can recommend some solid, beefy looking AT’s in the same size I’d appreciate it.

Took off the stock brake pedal cover to see if I could swap in the is300 sport pedal. Looks like it should fit fine. Now I gotta figure a solution for the gas pedal.

Top one is the new cover. May or may not have to trim the rubber surround. I’ll test it in the morning.

Talked to the guy who built the bumper for my previous rig about some potential rust repair. Undecided on if I want to do it in case Toyota does a frame replacement within the next year; I don't see the rust I have being an issue any time soon, just not a fan of holes in the frame haha.

It only took a few minutes. I haven’t figured how to lock it into place yet but it’s in there pretty firmly while driving at least. I’ll have to mess with it some more when I get home. It does sit a bit higher than the oem one. View is the same though. Might do a small write up later.

I more or less copied you. Found BrandMotion made a very similar mirror (maybe they are the OEM for the 86?) and got the basic one shipped for around $50. pulled off the old, slid on the new, tightened it with a T20 torx, and its on there solid, and looks great.
