Getting all the cheap mods out of the way haha. Resonator delete made it a TINY bit louder but nothing really noticeable. Did it more for the side exit and to not smell exhaust fumes with the back window down. Also picked stainless so it'll never look like poop, just my welds will
I need to get this done. Looks great IMO

UPS just dropped off my replacement caliper shipped directly from Stoptech. Here's the old ones for reference.
Can finally address that one frozen piston next weekend.
How old and how many miles were on the old Stoptech calipers?
They were new in 2005 and have at least 50-60k on them. I was going to refinish them but decided to have Stoptech make a new set for me. I still have the old ones in a box around here. The previous owner didn't drain them completely so the brake fluid ate away at the finish. They look bad but they stopped my 3rd gen like it was a small sports car lol. I want to use them on my IS300 but I think they piston setup is optimized for the tundra / 4runner / tacoma. Probably would not work with the IS300 unfortunately.

Installed 1/4" spacers to help level out my 4runner a little more. I got just about an inch of lift. Isn't that more than should be nettet by 1/4" spacers?

No. It is not a linear relationship with top out spacers. The spacer moves the arm a 1/4” at the shock connection point which is increased due to the radius of the wishbone suspension.

After driving if some more it seems to have settled more. Sitting at about 5/8" of lift now. Super Happy with how it came out. Looks a lot better and so far no unusual sounds.

VSC Trac & Trac Off popped up on the dash after a recent smog check. Disconnecting the battery did not clear the code. Figured I needed a zero point calibration thanks to the knowledge base that is this website.
Rigged up my ghetto tool with two strands of speaker wire, two crimp connectors, and a paper clip. Followed the steps in the appropriate TSB...two mins later I took it for a spin and zero lights! Prior to this, the lights would come on as soon as the vehicle started rolling. Their lack of appearance after a five mile drive leads me to believe the issue is solved!

Here’s a shot of the is300 brake pedal cover installed. I might source a different cover for the gas pedal and figure out something for the dead pedal. And I have no clue what that switch under the dash is for... first time I went under the dash to see it.

Only need some copper crush washers and I should be good to go.

What do you mean by dead pedal?
Dead pedal is the foot rest pedal that’s to the left side of the foot well. Some people call it dead pedal some people call it the foot rest pedal.
Similar to the large plate pictured in the RC coupe f sport setup here.

Are these brackets to use 5.7 Tundra brakes??
