i got my tree up and did a lightpost - first xmas at first house.
yours reminds me of the classic TX/FL real estate where you
get a sweet ass house in a development for great deals. prob twice+ the size of mine but MA prices and ten mins from surfable beaches (albeit it snowy ones right now, that i still surf) make it pricey.

I agree, gorgeous house that even here in western MA would be $500k+/-, depending on the town, so I can’t even imagine how much it would be in the eastern part of the state near the coast! Out here a basic 1,200-1,500sq foot ranch is $250k+. I’d kill for a garage setup like that too! I have a 2 car with a lift, but nowhere near enough space for all my vehicles and tools!

its true - i have a small 2 bedroom ranch with a two car garage and it is redfinned at about 270k...dough like that gets a similar house to that guy's in TX or a place in FL or Carolinas with an inground pool im pretty sure. I did make my move because of the beaches though, as a surfer, and i can snowboard or be in the mtns of NH or VT in roughly 3-4 hrs.

hey - with you out in Western MA, have you driven old florida road? i ride in a spot 10 mins from my house and work called Freetown State Forrest, Copicut road. one of only legal places to ride that i know of in MA/RI...

damn - was not expected $150...i would have guessed under $50 but the thing does look pretty neat. I might have an interesting netting job coming up, as I ordered sliders without top plates and have a new dog that could prob snap a leg getting in or out of the truck with them. I used to make bimini tops for boats and might try rigging some netting with some line on the top of them like quad nerf bars. should be interested (and i know likelly to break line if i encounter any wild rocks or trees with them.)

Good to know, thanks for the info. I had heard of that product a long time ago, but forgot about it. I have used spray bedliner before such as the Duplicolor one that I’ve sprayed wheelwells and such with and had good results. That one looks like it has a more aggressive pattern to it, which probably adds to the toughness. Was it a spray can, or did you spray with a gun?

It comes with a gun. Poor hardener to fill line shake well then screw it to the gun. 40 to 70 psi range I think.

Swapped the bushings out of the rear 4600s I recently picked up from a Taco owner using the Pitman puller and bolt/washers methods posted in the 3rd Gen forum complete with a list of needed items. Perfect solutions, and as cost effective as it gets.

Got a chance to run down to the tire shop and get my wheels/tires on the truck. 6" lift, 20x9 33x12.50x20. No rubbing! Now to do some exterior refreshing

I'd love to be close to snowboarding. We have beaches too but they're not the same as east / west coast beaches. It's fun having multiple rigs/projects but sometimes there isn't enough free time to dedicate the love these projects need. You're spot on about the price though. I know friends moving to Seattle where they're gonna have to spend 3x the amount to get a house of similar size.

I wouldn't mind a smaller living space. You can never have enough garage space. With my 3.25 worth of space its still full of tools and car parts. I'm slowly liquidating and building up storage in the garage but it still feels like I should have held out for a 4 car tandem setup. I know those in my neighborhood that have it and have like a tool / bar tv setup for hanging out and wrenching at the same time. Majority of folks in my neighborhood just use their third spot for storage. I'm guilty of that too but most of that are stuff on the classifieds waiting to be sold.

Base model SR comes with the weird black bumper, been that way since 2016, I’ll alter it within the next few weeks : ), it’s my 8th Tacoma lol.

Tore the interior out to install minor sound deadening. I used about 30 sq ft of noico 80mil butyl rubber on the floors and I used about 15 sq ft of noico 50 mil on the doors then I sprayed rustoleum undercoating on the inside rear quarter panels and on the backside of the plastic panel for the rear hatch
Spent about $135 for everything and it made a huge difference
Can’t imagine how nice it would sound if I would have used MLV, high quality rubber and a closed cell foam but I could imagine it would 100% be worth it if you have the funds available
My project took about 11 hours start to finish and the doors were more of a pain than the floors
