damn, thats way too much, could of ask if they can price match. but good thing you order oem and not aftermarkets, i never had good luck with aftermarket, they dont last long.

Did this Saturday...
Sport Hood with C4 Scoop Light Bracket and a 10" Amazon Light Bar. Still need to wire it up and might have to make some adjustments to make the light bar sit a bit lower, but other than that the hood looks awesome, now I just need to polish up the rest of the truck as much as I did the hood before installation!

- Replaced my sway bar links with Moog parts front and rear. I regretted not doing this when I changed out my suspension recently. If you're replacing yours anyway, go ahead and do the sway bar links and bushings (I had previously done the bushings). One of the fronts (old at left):
- Finally got to trail-test my new '15 Tacoma Off Road + FJ rear springs suspension package on a nice drive through the woods with the North Georgia Overlanders FB group. We covered a short section of the Georgia Traverse from Blue Ridge up to the Tumbling Creek Campground just over the Tennessee state line.
The new suspension really exceeded expectations. Coming from my 149K, 12-year-old X-REAS, the road ride has of course been much better but the difference on the trail was startling. No more jolts and no more washboard sections that feel like you're taking them on wooden wagon wheels. That's my silver '07 Sport at far right. Its stock look compared to many of the rigs always leaves me feeling like I'm attending a black tie dinner in a t-shirt and shorts. But hey, she goes where I want to go.

Assuming you mean installing your light bar and bracket since it looks like you already have the sport hood!
I did mine with the sport hood off of the car, it was super easy when I was able to flip the hood back and forth over a table with a moving blanket down. I can see how this might be quite a bit tougher with the hood on the car.
DEFINITELY remove the scoop assembly the from the car to drill out the rivets for the plastic cap that you have to remove to open the scoop. I then just ziptied the mesh back in the opening when I was done. I remember C4 sending some small hardware but when it came time to install it I couldn't find the little baggy of hardware so I made do with what I had kicking around.
What light bar did you go with?
I never noticed that it was darker. I always thought it was the aftermarket ones that were darker because my sport edition looks pretty std chrome to me.

I went with the Rigid R10. I would have preferred to use a Baja Designs light since they're friends of mine, but C4 specifically said BD's 10" light would not work with the bracket.

Do you recall why they said the BD one wouldn't work?
I'm sure C4 Fab wasn't thinking someone would buy their bracket and then put a Light Bar that costs 1/4 of the bracket into it, but here I am with my $16 Amazon bar. It doesn't fit perfectly, but with some tweaks it should work just fine for my use!

I believe he said it was too wide. I may just drive up to BD and see if their light will fit in the bracket. (I have not installed mine yet, did an impromptu trip to the snow last weekend instead. May go again this weekend . . .)

Checked oil after 2500 miles. Still at the same level as when I changed it. Suctioned out the power steering res. and refilled with Redline D4 ATF goodness. I do that occasionally.

Bilstein 5100's front and rear with Dobinson's springs. 300's in front and 325's in the rear. I actually intended to get the 302's for the front but, got a good deal on a slightly used set from the marketplace here.
