What did you do with your 4runner today?

got tired (2 weeks of ownership) of no aux in or bluetooth in on the JBL system.
here was my solution:

• Pioneer AVH-W4400NEX DVD Receiver
• Rockford Fosgate RFK4X Amplifier Wiring Kit 4 gauge Power
• Pioneer ND-BC8 Universal Rear View Camera
• Axxess TYTO-01 Toyota Amp Turn On Interface
• Axxess ASWC-1 Steering Wheel Control Interface
• Metra 95-8202 Dash Kit
• Metra 70-8114 Steering Wheel Control Harness
• Mictuning USB Car Charger and Audio for Toyota

So a side note: when i placed my order for the Pioneer on crutchfield it kept trying to recommend a different interface box, yet i would loose all the fade options on the radio. Now not a huge issue, but on my motorcycle i lost the same control and it bugs me just enough to make me annoyed. So i went with the 2nd recommended Accessory install pack and it worked out great.

now my next step is figuring out why the previous owner glued in the spoiler brake light and then hide the camera wire nicely.

After a year and a half of lusting, I finally pulled the trigger on a RTT. Two weeks ago my wife and I got back from Big Bend where we had a few eventful nights involving critters and deflated pads. Needless to say she was much more on board once we returned home. Unfortunately it probably won't be here until late May or early June.

nice! What company? I love mine. Took it out of winter hibernation last week and opened it up today to air it out before my trip this weekend!

I picked up a $200 update courtesy of a co-worker who put some TRD Pro's on his 5th Gen. I was unsure of how the SR5 wheels would look, but they seem to work.

If I can sell my old Sport wheels for a couple of dollars it may be a break even.

it looks great. i was wondering if these wheels will look good on the 4th gen, and now i know

Did you mean take off the mudflaps? Or take off the spacers?

I was pretty bummed to have to remove the front flaps when I got my new wheels and tires, but it’s really common for our trucks to have this issue when pushing the wheels out it seems. There was no getting around it for me though. I also had to relocate the fender liners in the fronts of the wheel wells too.

I had to pull mine off for 285's. I think it looks better without. Bummer the rear ones have to be cut up to cover the bumper space though, still need to do that lol.

I think those snowflake wheels look much much better on our 4th gens then they ever have on the 5th gens!
