Interesting, so it should be fine then. I didn’t specify anything. I followed your link, but because I had already entered my 4Runner previously when searching for parts, it automatically tells me if stuff will fit or not at the top of the ad/page. I have found out though that it is wrong at times such as when I ordered the “smoker’s kit” for the console. It said that wouldn’t fit ether. Thanks for sharing and confirming that you have the same year, now at least I have an option if it ends up being the plug. Even though the adapter can be used, I like that one because it has both types to directly plug in without anything additional to misplace.

Just dropped mine off at the dealer to have timing belt changed. They gave me a rav4 as a loaner.
Finished building my 10' long SUP, stuck it inside the car which leaves 1" of room diagonally until you strap it in, bind the board against the windshield and crack it. Good thing I purchased full glass coverage.
New windshield going in today.
The SUP will hang out the back window or go on the roof from now on.

yeah - amazing scenery. major contrast to where i live (after 3 hr drive i cant get to the white mountains NH VT etc) and i live ten mins from surfable beaches, but that is some amazing country there.
love the sequoia wheels (or tundra?) - looks like 255/75/17? making me appreciate my squared off fenders right there
Foothills of the Rocky Mountains, an area called Kananaskis Country.
They are Sequoia rims, but yes, they also came on the Tundra, as well. I want more, but they seem to be harder to find around here. Tires are 265/70R17s.
Replaced the front stabilizer bar bushings. Great improvement. One clunk removed from the front suspension. One or two softer clunks left to hunt down and eliminate.
Easy job. Remove 4 screws to remove the front skid plate, remove 2 aft screws on the front stabilizer bar bushings, loosen 2 forward screws on the front stabilizer bar bushings, slip the brackets out of the screws, lower the stabilizer bar, replace bushings. Installation is the reverse of removal. Skid plate removal not mandatory but makes it nicer and easier.
Eliminated the source of a steering wheel vibration. Turns out it was a wheel. I replaced the suspect wheel with the full sized spare wheel (thanks Toyota!) and the vibration went away. Either the suspect wheel is bent or very far out of balance, or both. I will take it to a tire place to see what's what. The suspect wheel will be used as a spare.

Bilstein 6112s/5160s (4 and 2 on the front shocks). Sequoia rims with 265/70R17 Duratracs.

The factory keyfob finally gave up the ghost last night (keyring broke the plastic all the way through) so I ordered an AJT fob this morning. Looking forward to getting it
What’s it look like? I got one of these recently as the stock fob has that weak spot.

Didn’t realize it was the same one I had, but it did have a little card with AJT on it in the box now that i think of it lol. I came across it on someone’s build thread, asked for a link and immediately purchased it. My runner is white too!

I had to remove the factory harness/plug and the mounting plate. The plate was rusty and pretty much feel apart. I had to grind the included mounting plate a little in order to use it in the same spot as the factory intended. I also had to drill new holes on the hitch to line up with the holes on the included mounting plate.
All in all. I have no complaints, would have been nice if the included mounting plate bolted up same as factory. But it wasn't to bad.

Finally put in a RAM mount for my phone and added a USB charging socket to the left side of my wheel for it. When not in use I can pull off the X-Grip portion and tuck the arm up along the A-pillar and it's pretty much invisible. Really wish I could have found a way to mount it on the right side of the wheel, but there just isn't enough space unless you go into the dash. I figure worst case I'm out $15-20 from a junkyard for a replacement A-pillar if I want it back to stock.

Got back from a 700km trip and while I was getting the mud off as thoroughly as I could I noticed this:
Rear Lower Control Arm nut fell off somewhere and the bolt almost backed itself out completely. I did not feel anything strange but I'm pretty happy I caught it when I did. Can't imagine what would have happened if that arm dropped while on the highway.
Managed to get a new nut on in the parking lot of work. I had to use a ratchet straps to get the bolt all the way back through.
Any one else ever had this issue?
