looks like an effective little step...nothing i need at 6'3. you reminded me of when i was a kid walking a boatyard with my dad. he walked into the trailer of a boat that goes over tow ball and ill never forget the gouge he got. looked like a half inch deep bite hole in his thigh - many stitches. good point you make because that sucker looks like itd leave a mark too

Just got back from our 6 day trip to Moab. She was a hot one at camp at night, but was worth it.

Picked up some TRD Pros and 255/75/17 Cooper Discoverer AT3s! They definitely gave the old girl a great new look. And so far I've been nothing short of impressed by these tires; I have yet to hit dirt with them, but I think I'll be pleasantly surprised there too!

It’s called a Roof Basket. The Roof Rack are the rails and cross bars. Common mistake.

Went to the sand dunes in Pismo Beach yesterday. The 4runner did a great job. People were looking at me like I was crazy, but were amazed at its capabilities in stock form.

Picked up a license plate frame with LED lights for the new bumper. Got it mounted and wired up easily by splicing into the trailer harness with a t tap. Now I can drive at night again!

Trying to decide on what type of auxiliary lighting to throw into the rear. Leaning heavily towards some Baja design as I love their products but they’re bloody expensive. I just don’t want to get a cheap pair and have them filled with water in a couple months.

I have a Wilco but the idea is the same. I got a cheap Nutsert set and a trailer license plate bracket from Amazon. Drilled two holes in the bumper, installed nutserts, and then screwed the license plate bracket on and plugged it into the trailer harness. Boom. Street legal and clean looking.

Finally got my windows tinted (much needed in Texas)...and rotated tires.

Up next are the wheels which I have procrastinated on for so long. I photoshopped some options on it in the past and now I'm looking at the pics again to see which option I'll go with. I'm keeping the gray paint color and yellow fogs/lights in mind while making my decision.

3rd gen Factory E-locker Retrofit in a 4th gen

As the title says, I'm currently working on retrofitting a factory Toyota e-locker from a 3rd gen 4Runner into my 4th gen.

The trash bin is a more sustainable way for me to hold my trash. I dont want to waste any more plastic than I need to as my bins at home are already lined.

The Narcan is to help with opioid overdoses. I am a first responder and I tend to run into a lot of situations outside of work.

I saw this neat storage idea and I am waiting till they make a connector that runs across the headliner. It would be an awesome way to hang gear as well as my first aid kit.
