You have close-up pictures? I'm not a huge fan of the textured look either, so am super interested in that stuff for skids/bumpers/slidersFinalized my front end.
Went through 3 cans of Steel-It. I highly recommend it over Bed liner. It is pretty tough and it hasn’t even fully cured. I personally did not want to go for a textured front bumper look.

Thats how thick 50 bucks aluminium sheet cut to fit looks like. Not a rock crawling armor by any means but a great protection from mud rushing in to a rad and condenser during mud bogging![]()

Added auxiliary reverse lighting, I feel like I can never see back there even with upgraded LED’s. This should work.![]()

what brand is that? im using the hella brand with the flood pattern, it works really nice.
I replaced both of my front CV axles today. Of course one side was easy, the other side was a pain, but it was very straightforward.
What I didn't read was that my front diff would empty itself. So I guess I'm changing the front diff fluid tomorrow. On to searching for DIY's. (I've always had an indy shop do it. It only has 30k / 3 years on it).
It's a bit late now, but always make sure you can remove the top fill plug before pulling the bottom plug.

Ouch. Do they tell you what all needs to be removed to replace the oil pump? I know oil pan removal is a pretty large job.took my 4runner an independent mechanic we trust. Oil pump is gone. Is a $1.8K repair bill reasonable if it were to include a timing chain kit and valve cover gaskets?
I want a shield like that!Thats how thick 50 bucks aluminium sheet cut to fit looks like. Not a rock crawling armor by any means but a great protection from mud rushing in to a rad and condenser during mud bogging![]()
