After about a week of driving like this!

I was finally able to get the Runner finished! Loved the ARB so much on the Taco I decided to stay with them for the Runner!

Added an AEM Dryflow non-oiled reusable air filter, K&N reusable cabin filter, Alla Lighting yellow LED fogs, and Apex Overland front recovery points.

Also beefed up my recovery gear with Tred 800 boards courtesy of [MENTION=100088]EHNWI[/MENTION].

Also, my dog kept slipping on my sliders and every time I try to access stuff on my roof it's a pain. Went over to Tater Fab and he welded me step plates at the back end of the sliders:

Also recently replaced my Kenwood with the excellent Pioneer AVH-2550NEX & couldn’t be happier with it. I placed a magnetic phone mount as shown using one of those removable 3M strips, a solution I would have loved to have figured out much sooner.

Mounted rigid radiance XL pods for ditch lights using brackets made for a tundra.
Also using a cool switch for them made by CH4x4. Then got the power tray mounted to and ready for the wiring!

My roof rack cross bars are loose in their mounts and are rattling, does anybody know what size tool I need to tighten them in their mount? I can’t tell if it’s a torx or an Allen screw that’s in there

These are the new Tacoma TRD pro wheels and only weigh about 20 lbs, but the Volks are nice... i think i'll lean towards the Volks ....

I didn't really do anything to the car but I did order a bunch of stuff... Its gonna be like christmas soon..
One thing I did buy which I probably should have waited was the Alpine ILX-W650 and now I'm looking at speakers too smh

The rest was all needed things and I a few more to look into. Also gonna change all the bulbs out to LED and try change the lights on the dash to led aswell.

I have a story for you about getting rid of a bad smell in a vehicle, a couple of years after my wife and I got married and had 2 young babies 13 months apart she needed a vehicle for safely hauling the kids and etc. etc., we had very little money at the time so I looked and looked for a "tank" in good condition within my budget, I found a Suburban that only had 40,000 miles on it for 1/3 the book value, I couldn't believe it, to good to be true I'm thinking.

I went and checked it out, the ad was spot on, 40,000 miles and 1/3 of book value, it ran and drove GREAT, had decent tires with a little less than half the thread so I bought it.....BUT the guy I bought it from bought his wife a new Suburban and he was a shrimper, he then started using the old one to pull his 25 foot shrimp boat in and out of the water when needed but mostly he used it to haul his shrimp to market, he would load his shrimp in waxed card board boxes, ice them down and load them in the back, he did this for about a year or so....the inside of the Suburban smell like rotten dead fish, but my wife and I were sure we could get it to smell somewhat reasonable with a good cleaning and air freshers.... none of which made a dent in the smell....so I removed all the seats, headliner, carpet and the padding, everything made of fabric so we could REALLY clean it since it was so hard to do in place, we washed everything about 10 times but it still smelled to bad to even drive the vehicle....so i just left everything out on the driveway while I searched savage yards for a better interior, after about 2 1/2 weeks it got rain on about 2 times but sat in the sun all the rest of the time.... I told my wife we are just going to have to live with it until we come across another interior...so we started with the padding first....to our surprised it had no bad smell anymore, so we checked with our noses all the rest of the interior pieces....it all smell just like laundry did back in the day of hanging your laundry on clothes lines, SPRING TIME FRESH, I still remember loving the smell of my clothes after them hanging in the sun to dry on the clothe line!!!

I then also remembered as a kid hearing that the sun as well as rain water was a natural deodorizer!!

My wife drove that Suburban for over 10 years and then I bought her another one, I drove the old one for another 7 years and it was still running when I parked it with over 300,000 miles on it and I started driving the newer Suburban when my wife got a new smaller vehicle since the kids had now finished high school and were driving themselves.

I still own and drive the newer Suburban when needed, it has 240,000 miles on it.

You might not have the time to pull your carpet, clean it if you can get all the stains out and let it sit outside in the sun for a week or so but I will guarantee you the smell will be gone if you can do that.

Sounds like you're around my age kid-wise....lol. I found the rug covered piece that can lay down in the rear storage area smelled pretty bad. It's been outside since last spring. Maybe I should give it a sniff. :-D

You will like that radio. And the kenwood KFCXP6902 speakers are a great direct replacement.

Hey thanks! Ill def check those speakers out. Eventually Ill add an amp, sub and a backup camera but right now just need to improve the sound and I'll be happy to have bluetooth.

Everything else I've ordered is needed. I do have to work on the rad support at some point.
