295/70/17 Cooper Evolution M/Ts

Lightest E-rated MT tire I could find. Only 59lbs each. They are a fairly new tire so I was a little hesitant at buying, but from the few reviews I found they are said to be really good. Will get them mounted next week and going wheeling next weekend too.

Those look nice and aggressive, will they fit without rubbing the BMC or inner fender? with 285 already need BMC and trimming.

It's a molle panel from orange boxx fabrication and it's probably my favorite upgrade aside from lift/wheels. Keeps doggo inside the truck with the rear window down and looks amazing. If you buy one tell em Jeff aka 4Runner207 sent you! Get the center console molle while you're at it!

I'm not sure yet. I have a steel bumper so no trimming there. I have the BMC plates just in case I have to do that. We will see once I get them mounted and alignment done. Hopefully my JBA UCAs give me enough caster.

Pulled off the throttle body & gave it a good cleaning. Replaced the fuel regulator damper. Changed the engine oil & chased down a rattle coming from the back.

My long term fuel trims are showing a lean condition so I Decided to replace the fuel pump today. I didnt realize how rotted my fuel tank skid plate and tank straps were. Basically the skid is there for show because it crumbled apart once it hit the ground.one tank strap snapped at the hinge. I bought new straps just in case but now I need to replace the skid.

Nothing exciting but 2 days ago I finally got around to waxing mine. The hood was really hazy (I guess from exposure to the sun), so I had to break out the buffer and some mirror glaze to get it looking good. Unfortunately, doing this reminded me that I really need to paint, or get painted, some of the cladding. Otherwise it really looks pretty good.

I finally got around to installing a new AUX plug in my center console. There were several videos on Youtube about disassembling and resoldering the existing one.
I am a prolific solderer and attempted to do it with no success. I ordered a new one off Amazon and installed it today...now I can listen to my 6,000 song library over a wire which sounds way better than the cheap Bluetooth radio gizmo. The JBL Synthesis does a decent job. I am wondering if one of the previous owners replaced the sub. It sounds really decent thru the AUX input and also CDs. The panel that holds the sub has evidence it has been removed.

Raptor Liner!

The clearcoat on my 04 was pretty much gone. The roof had none, it was peeling and chipping away on the sides. It was beyond repair and a new quality paint job is -expensive-

So I raptor lined the entire thing! I was EXTREMELY hesitant, as I've seen some vehicles that look like absolute garbage. I took an absurd amount of time prepping everything, the prep was incredibly tedious but it's so crucial. I am beyond thrilled with how it came out! If you've been playing with the idea of it, just commit to the prep work and do it!

In the process I also threw a fresh coat of matte paint on my rear bumper, as it's taken a few hits the last year. My aftermarket headlights had lost a good amount of clearcoat as well over time. I couldn't get a sylvania kit in before I wanted to put the truck back together, so I took my DA Polisher to them and they came out great! I sealed them with Jescar Powerlock, it's not urethane but it lasts and saved me a ton of elbow grease.

Man, that is the 2nd vehicle i have seen done like that. I was at my local Toyota dealer the other day and they had a vintage Land Cruiser sitting in the showroom with that product on it , in the same color even. It looked amazing! So did the 15” black wheels with 35’s on them along with a huge lift and many other overland items. I loved it. Yours turned out great!

Looks great! My truck sat in NV for the first 12 years of its life, so the paint is pretty sun burnt on the upward facing surfaces (hood, roof, tops of the fender arches). I'd love to do something like this and never worry about scratching paint again!

Mine is just the opposite of yours. The 3 previous owners must have garage kept it (as will I). The paint is amazingly lustrous. I clay barred it, machine polished, waxed and then 2 coats of Turtle Wax Hybrid Ceramic Sealant and it looks a good as my 2019 Tundra. Being it has spent it’s winters on the salt briny roads of Ohio the last 14 years...the undercarriage is where she looks a little raggedy. Nothing structural as I can tell, just a fair share of surface rust. The skid plate should probably be removed and sand blasted and coated...or just replaced. I bet yours looks great underneath having lived in the dry and warm state of Nevada.

I didn't just do this today, it's sort of ongoing. I'm building a storage box for the rear hatch area. Sorry, no pics yet. I didn't think about it while I was working on it early on, but once it's done I'll post some up. It's not as fancy as most I've seen on here. I really wanted to do drawers but the cost on the slides blew me away. It has two doors on top that open from the center up and toward the sides. And at the very front where the rear seatbacks lean back and it forms a triangle there's a small open top compartment that goes all the way across. It's perfect for keeping hiking poles, umbrellas and other small items that are usually just in the way. But my favorite part, which is one of the most important reasons I decided to build this is this: At the very bottom I put in a slide out panel that pulls straight out to make a table. My wife and I spend our summers in the mountains and have picnics daily, usually somewhere in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. And I always had to carry a folding table for that purpose. This will eliminate that and give me a little more space. Like I said, it not as nice as some I've seen on here but I expect to end up with less than $150 in it total. As I said I'll try to post some pics once it's finished.

My wife is not a fan of the raptor lined look though My pain on the roof is also toasted. I live in the SW, so its not a huge concern, but every time I notice it it annoys me xD

I've considered going full "classic toyota look," painting the roof white and getting a Satoshi grill, but I don't think it would look quite right.

Nailed it. Paint is blasted, underside is pristine (now it's seen 2 MN winters so it'll get rusty, but I keep up with it every year).
