That trim piece sticks up on mine after running my light bar wiring underneath it. Looks like there’s supposed to be some adhesive in there. I’ve been considering using the 3M black super weatherstrip and gasket adhesive.

Paid a local muffler shop $40 to cut off the resonator and reroute the exhaust to the side. As others have noted, this makes no difference in sound.
Have you drive w rear window down? I’d so, do you still get exhaust smell?

As someone who did this a long time ago, yes. No way around it, maybe an axle dump cut but I don’t know.

I really never had the “rotten eggs” smell others have talked about, which someone said is a catalytic converter issue. So yes, I have driven with the rear window down, and there’s less exhaust noticeable, but mine was never bad to begin with.

AGM Battery replacement
Replaced my battery with a larger CCA rating. 760 CCA 70amp Hours NAPA Legend Premium AGM. I get a decent discount from NAPA due to their partnership with my job so it made sense to try it out.
Needed at least a 650cca battery for my winch I’ll be putting in, hopefully soon. Need to get my voltage booster ordered for the increased voltage charging needed.
OLD, but still good

Discount Tire put five Cooper Discoverer AT3 LT tires on. LT265/60 R18 (stock size). $1270 OTD. The Michelin MS2 P-rated with multiple pluggings over the years had to go.
Too bad for me 18" wheels have limited options for all-terrain tires. You get P-rated or E-rated, that's it. E's are some stiff buggers even at 37psi where Discount set them to, I noticed the difference immediately cornering over bumpy asphalt.

I cut mine directly as it dumps behind the axle at an angle so it exits out the passenger rear wheel well. I can drive with my rear window down at any speed and love it. Sometimes when I pass diesels on the freeway with the rear window down I smell exhaust but goes away once I’ve passed the truck.
This is what I did as well. No issues with exhaust smell.

What group # size is the AGM battery?

According to their website is says BCI group size #48. I know it definitely starts much stronger. Hope I made an OK choice.

Timing belt failure..or not
Just joined as I was looking at some threads the other day about not giving people hope due to this being an interference motor but after my timing belt decided to snap in half while going maybe 50 mph. Go sure thought I was going to need to swap the block but after throwing on a new timing belt she turned over fine. Still need to finish putting the radiator back in back she started up for a few seconds and was running fine. 2004 V8 limited. Roughly 240,000 believe it was the original belt and it was snapped fully in half.

Replaced Original driver seat cushion foam
Mine was pretty wore out on the driver door side bolster. Always feel like I’m sliding sideways off the seat. Has good support now and much more comfortable.
Old Cushion
I used zip ties to reattach the fabric cover to the cushion.
I also replaced the Clazzio leather seat bottom cover. The vinyl had cracked in a couple places while I was removing/reinstalling last year while putting in the seat heaters. It doesn’t match real well due to them being years old unfortunately though.

hmm might have to go buy a pair at Home Depot. Cheap and probably a good tool to have around

They do come in handy for sure. I use them constantly for cutting zip ties and other random things in my garage.

My 4X Innovations sliders are prepped, primed, painted, & going on tomorrow.
