I’ve been wanting these as well, just haven’t seen anyone who has run them for at least a year share any feedback on durability.

These are the Akkon brand off Amazon which have some very mixed reviews I added silicone sealant so we’ll see. I’ll keep you all updated but they look amazing day one at least

Fixed my front windshield wipers. While driving home in the rain the passenger side just stopped.
Took it apart and found the wiper drive ball joint failed, and would not latch onto its knuckle. So I trimmed some of the plastic away, drilled into the knuckle and then installed a 1/4-20 helicoil. A short bolt some red loctite and a washer done and done.
It should last another couple hundred thousand miles.
Should mention while I had it out I popped the other knuckles and greased everything with fresh moly grease. Moves much smoother now as well.

P0305-cylinder 5 misfire. Did some poking and pulling. Got lucky that it was just a bad spark plug. Worn out to the point that the gap was out of spec.

Replaced my malfunctioning OEM JVC headunit with a newly-released Sony (XAV-AX150) unit while buttoning things up after replacing the evaporator core.
Impressed so far, it’s a lot of screen for the price and has CarPlay/android auto. Seems to be the best of both of the most popular Sony units, they finally moved the USB port to the back. Only thing I miss is an actual knob for volume but steering wheel controls solved that.

Looks great. Did you buy a double-din mounting kit or did it come with one?
Yea that was already relocated when I purchased it 5 years ago.
I just set the seal in too far. It's been holding for 2 months so I'll be good for a little while. I'm getting quick at the fix.
I love this solution. It will be the next one I use when this seal eventually fails. This time, I just tapped the seal in 60% instead of flush to keep the lip riding farther out on the retainer past the bevel. I put a little sealant around the edges as a precaution to just hold it in, though there are no forces really applied to make it come out.
Initially when I bought it, the dealership didn't replace the wheel bearings and seals, they just packed them with heavy grease and sold it to me. 5 weeks later I had huge, goopy leaks, but I was across the country and only had a 1 month warranty.
Used the Metra 95-8210 kit from Crutchfield. Satisfied with the fit and finish, it's one of the only good solutions for Limited w/o Nav.
