I just got a 2013 4runner for my wife. I paid $35,700 for a 4x2 SR5 fully loaded with navigation system (premium package), also has sunroof, heated front seats etc... Everything but 4x4...
After adding gap insurance, extended warranty, tax, title and lic. The total cost was $38,900. I got 2% interest rate for 60 months.
If you don't mind me asking what did you all pay total cost out the door with everything. I have bought several toyota from the same dealer and want to be sure the price is in line. I could not see getting 4x4 or limted as the cost would have been $43,000-$45,000. Plus my wife didn't need 4x4

Even if the dealer sells you the rig for invoice, they still have dealer holdback money, various monthly sales volume incentives & some dealer fees.

13 SR5. Sticker price of $37,600. Paid $33,000 out the door (included tax, license, transaction fee, etc), but that also included $2000 for my trade-in. So, essentially, paid $35,000 OTD.

I know this is for 2013 models but there are still some 2012's on the lot if you can find them. I just got a 2012 SR5 4x4 with premium package, leather seats, Stereo with Nav, moon roof, etc for $33,200 before taxes, sticker was 40k. Financed through my credit union at 1.79% with no downpayment.

Thanks for news--I've been trying to find out what was planned for 2014 4R (particularly Trail)--Totyota has been pretty tightlipped. With so many 2014s already out or info on them already available, I have been hesitant to pull the trigger just on the outside chance a 6 Speed or more HP engine was planned (I know, not likely but one can always hope and I would of regretted not waiting it they did). If only cosmetics, for me no need to wait any longer . . . looking forward to confirmation next Saturday!

The '14 refresh won't hit dealers until September. If you wait around until then, you can probably get a decent discount on a leftover '13 model. If you wait until December and aren't super picky about options, you might get a very nice discount on a '13.
Really, people should post what they paid in a broken down format. Go on cars.com and build exactly what you bought. My 4Runner stickered for $36,xxx back in 2010. I paid $32,020 after my company discount (and that included TDA, which varies by region). Tax, title, tags, etc put it at $34k out the door (5% WV taxes, $125 doc fees, some other misc nonsense). I didn't trade, though. WV allows you to deduct your trade from the cost of the vehicle when they calculate taxes. I do get the privilege of paying a yearly personal property tax that turns out to be around $400/year on it, though. :yuck:

$37,000...not including the trade-in amount and $1500.00 down. Took me 5 hours to get them down from their $39,999 sticker price and terms I wanted. What was funny, their craigslist posting was showing $38,991. Whatever you do, don't cave as I had no pressure as I was ready to go to another dealer and they knew it. They would not let me walk out then I started to get pissed and they folded!

I'm too lazy to get up 2:50 AM and go out to the garage and look at the window sticker in the glove box, but my Limited '13 sticker was approx $43,900 and I paid $500 below invoice which worked out to be just a little more than $40,000 as I recall- not counting any tax or license and was no trade and no financing. That was around March 1st of this year.
