Hey,


Im going through this thing where i want black rims...i want that black on tan scheme for my 4runner, its looking to cluttery. Im going to flip the red lettering to the inside if i switch over. or keep it?

My options are paint my current rims with plasti-dip. (satin black)

or sell my rims as they are and purchase a set of these.

let me know your thoughts...

i have always loves those FJ rims in black and i think itll look good but not as durable as switching to different black rims.

I like those FJ wheels, but I personally think wheels with a little depth to them look better on these Runners.

That was my first thought, i didn't want to get them scratch all to crud if i painted them.

i love those fj rims and have been looking for some lately. might make an offer after my colorado trip at the end of the month if you decide to bail on them.

Get some more wheels......don't mess those rims up with paint unless you atleast get them powdercoated.

Even if you black out the wheels, I'd keep the red labels out.

If you paint them anything, I'd have them color matched to your paint code. I think if you paint them black that just makes them look cheaper. Maybe consider a hyper silver?

IM GOING TO KEEP THEM THE WAY THEY ARE! i tend to go through these phases of wanted a drastic change to me rig. this was one of them. thanks everyone for your input it really helped!:lookout:
