I modified my cubby to (estimate) fit 2x the volume stuff.

My 97's tiny cubby is full with just a set of jumper cables and a couple of ratchet straps. The panel with the bigger cubby is the last piece I need to find to finish up my interior.

Two long and two short ratchet straps, small air compressor, tire repair kit, jumper cables and tow strap. I think that is everything I have in there right now.

I keep a Roll of TP in there, jumper cables, ratcheting straps, small flashlight, gloves and gallon of coolant. I should probably take out the coolant, and look for a first-aid kit.

The 99+ guys have more space in their rear cubby... I wish I had more space there!

i actually did the opposite, the storage compartment for the 99 with the sub in place could be seen,so i switched in the 98 because the sub was i direct fit.
DID YOU CHANGE IN THE LEFT SIDE ALSO???

I had to trim off some sheet metal above the wheel well to get the storage compartment to fit. Panel itself was pretty much direct fit.
Left side was replaced cause mine was cracked at the bottom where the vent is.
